Haha that was actually pretty good. The point about finding the same used games on their shelf and pointing out the price difference is good, I wonder if anyone ever did that.

Ya I have to agree, like yes Gamestop rips you off and most people realize this, but that doesn't mean you should be a dick to the employees that work there. The employees aren't the ones who set the prices and make the rules, they just have to follow them because that is their job. I think most people who have ever worked a retail job when they were younger would kind of know this feeling, sometimes you have to do stuff because it is company policy even if you don't personally agree with it.

You don't want a dollar? Take the time to sell it yourself. Gamestop is in business to make money. They provide a convenience for a lot of people who don't feel the need to sell stuff themselves. Their kids want a new game? Take your old stuff in to reduce the price. Nothing wrong at all with what they do.

Personally I think this cartoon series is pretty damn funny, especially the one I linked to about achievements.:razz:
 
The point he was making is that the voice is annoying. If I was going to post rants and wanted people to actually listen to them, I'd go with a voice that didn't rip through people's minds.

Somebody already tried that with the Gamestop Whistleblower videos. It garnered like no acclaim. So, in conclusion, all voices suck.

That's the characters standard voice(been watching this series online for a few years now), so I suppose in order to do their anti-GS rant they were supposed to take on an air of seriousness and do away with the chipmunk voice?:roll:

Besides which I don't believe the rant was done to be completely serious anyway.

Either way, people need to learn to laugh at themselves and not take shit so damned serious.

I found those to be interesting as well. It must suck for those thinking that everything has to be serious business to be so soulless and without humor.
 
I'm sorry....does GS actually check the quality of the packaging when they buy a used game? I once bought a used PS2 game that had a pickle slice in the folds of the manual.

I think I remember someone on one of the GS sale threads reporting finding a condom in the one game package they bought, so by comparison I'd rather find a pickle slice in there.:D:whistle2:#

There is actually kind of a cult following for this particular character. Not entirely sure how it became famous, probably just a timing thing. As I recall it started around the same time that newgrounds was really picking up steam and everyone was jumping on the flash bandwagon. I don't find all the vids funny, but a few of his rants aren't bad. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion though.

Some do, some don't, and you can bullshit your way through the rest. I've traded in two things that I bullshitted my way through. The first was an XBOX 1 console that I apparently had opened up. It also didn't work very well, but they didn't even test it. The other was an XBOX 360 controller that I (poorly) modified the d-pad of. I told them that I bought it that way at a Gamestop store, and I was sold on the fact that it made the d-pad work better. (It actually does.) They took it anyway.
