Food that fills you up for under 4 bucks (with tax?)
but can anyone tell me why combos are getting so expensive??!?!?
As minimum wage goes up, so do prices... I guess?

OH yeah, and since less peopel eat fast food now days, they need to keep the burgers in better maintenance so that tehy dont expire before u eat it.

For $4.25 plus tax (I use a 10% off card to put it under $4.00 for me) I can get a General Tso's Lunch Special at the local China Buffet and get a Dr. Thunder at Wal-Mart for $.25. I usually get 2 meals out of the lunch special and I'm a big man.

Holy shit, someone else who has had Dr. Thunder?!

Does Walmart not sell Dr. Thunder everywhere? I get the 2-liters for .58 all the time.

There's an Albertson's next to where I work, the deli there has some pretty good deals. Food averages around $3/lb, the soups are even cheaper. I usually pick up a $1 Sobe Lean with whatever I get.

I go to Quizno's pretty often too, if somebody else from work wants anything. I use the Xbox Diamond Card coupon (buy one get one free)... a large sub runs $7-$8, I usually only ask for $5 from 'em, so I get my sub for $2-$3 depending on what it is. And with subs, water is perfectly fine.

Every once in a while I'll get 2 Schlotsky's pizza kids meals for $4.31. Comes with a personal pan sourdough pizza, small drink and a cookie of your choice. I eat two of those and I'm full for a while.
good grief wtf is happening with MCD's, BK, Wendy's...all there combos are starting at 5 bucks and higher. Can't afford a tripple cheese combo at Wendy's without hitting the 7 dollar mark.

So I will start off with McD's.

2 1 dollar double cheese burgers with no pickles
1 medium coke

with tax 3.15 ish

damn salty though
There is no good reason to eat a tripple cheeseburger at a fast-food restaurant. You are either going to be fat as shit or have a coronary.
I'm thinking about wendy's today ... Maybe a couple jr. bacon chee's, or crispy chickens. Possibly one and a small chili. And a small frosty.
Went with 2 crispy chickens, small chili, small frosty. $4.25 with tax.
Skip the drink when you see its running you $2. I drink to much soda anyway so there is certain places I know its $2 and I just get water. Good example is fuddruckers fountain drinks are $1.99.

Eat out at lunch and it always saves a few bucks at places.
I went there with a friend once and we got 1/3lb burgers. Then I bet him he couldn't eat a 1lb burger and he did, it was amazing, then I threw up because I was so stuffed while I only had 1/3lb, some fries and a rice krispy treat >_>
