I wanted to post this on Thursday, when I bought mine, but the forums were obviously down. I already owned a Darth Vader one that I got at a Spencer's for very cheap, and I have always wanted to pick up another model. Just not at $100+, though. Anyway, I saw these at a RadioShack and decided to get one.
Basically, it is a plain base that has a Force FX blade (lights up, reacts to contact, etc.) and makes all of the sound effects (they are slightly different from the ones my Vader blade make). It comes with about 20+ parts that you cn attach to customize the lightsaber. There is also a switch that allows you to change the blade color (red, blue, and green are the available colors).
Now, these are not nearly as good as the true Force FX lightsabers. The parts are mostly plastic, and the blade is a bit shorter, though I do believe it still is longer the Yoda saber. All in all, though, for $70, I found this to be a good buy for a Star Wars fan. It is pretty cool to be able to switch the parts around every once and awhile and change the blade color. Unfortunately, though, it does not come with a stand. It seems like they were gearing this more towards kids, even though they still warn you in the instructions that you shouldn't use them for playing.
