Gonna try to work on the front Rust-eze logo sometime soon. I wish they let you input a string of characters in for text. It'd make things a hell of a lot easier.



Gotta fix Wombat's mouth still. He doesn't look too happy.
 
Wow. I'm super interested in this game now. I just like the realism that this game portrays. I am very skeptical because I am not a fan of sim racers at all. I bought Toca 2 because of this same feeling, but I got so bored. I don't even like racers, but the Burnout series is one that I truly love. After trying Toca, I told myself that realistic racers are just not for me. I just eliminated an entire genre, but I think I might give this a try though. I'll definitely put in the time into the customizations.

I'll still be on the lookout for this. Maybe when it gets price-dropped.
 
I made a 2002 Berger Camaro, but only remembered to take a pic from the back. And I still need to work on it. Perhaps I'll fix it up and post it later today.

Kind of pissed I fell asleep instead of worked on one of those. In any case, it looks great.

The police car and that car with the wave and volcano on it also looks good. I think I might make the Supra from the Fast and the Furious, just for the "wtf" effect.

Do you guys remember the oval track from the first game? I haven't put in the effort to dig through the tracks yet, but maybe one of you guys know if it's in here or not. It's the best track to race American Muscle on.

And even though McQueen wasn't a Porsche, the headlights are big enough to pull off his eyes.

I'm going to try and perfect my Berger and let you enjoy it. I'm also going to work on something else...when I get the funds for it.

Excellent news. Now we need to set up a calendar of events for online playing. American Muscle night, Super Car night, etc. That and I need to play for a few hours straight to build up some cash to get more cars.
 
Probably a stupid question but do you guys feel this is a game that someone thats not really into racing could get into? Also, whats the learning curve like? Will someone that never played this before be able to compete with people that played the first one?

Well I'm not into racing like NASCAR and shit like that, but if it helps Forza 1 got me really into racing games. There is kind of a learning curve because you can tweak so much technically about the car as well as how it looks. It's worth a rental if you're on the fence because the demo does not do the game justice.
 
I'm gonna try and build a setup for the wheel using PVC piping. Made a quick sketch for dimensions and what pipe fittings I need. I probably won't have time to put it together 'till tomorrow though, so any suggestions or tips would be great.

No. I did it with a bunch of circles and squares. I'm using the primitive vinyl shapes.

Honestly I don't know yet, I'm thinking just a funky fresh design with "ryles" stamped on somewhere. I'm just gonna mess around and try to get something original.

There is a collector's edition. It is available everywhere, except the United States. Even Canada gets it! :bomb:

Normal edition is excellent though. Buy it if you haven't already.
