i'm confused.....35 systems in that auction? what the shit?
Somehow he bought them directly from a Circuit City warehouse.
MS needs to act on this NOW! I am reading messages all over internet forums from the XBOX fanbase who are getting royally peeved at the lack of systems or info.
Launch started with 1.2 million, dropped to 800k, prelimanary numbers were 400k now its been shown they launched with 370K. The only ones who seem to "find" these new shipments are the ing EBayers.
sure you have Major Nelson's blog, where he can play good cop, and reassure the gamers. but seriously, they just want them sold, no matter to whom, as fast as possible.
It's all about beating Sony (by using their tactics)
I definitely wouldn't bid on one of these. I'm almost certain that this is a scam. Prices are too low, stock is too high, and the story doesn't check out. I doubt a circuit city manager can hijack entire shipments like this, and even if one could, he/she definitely wouldn't advertise their position of being a CC manager. Unless they like being fired and not being able to get a recommendation for their next job.
I agree on the scam belief. If you look at the seller's other auctions, they are selling a 20,000 dollar rifle and a House w/ land in FL. The suspicious thing? The house has $150 shipping charge lol.
I wouldn't be surprised if MS was the one behind some of these auctions... I mean, if they sell a system above $550, then they don't lose anything. And if they sell it at anything above $550... well, hey! profit for them.

Just my conspiracy theory.
I've had this same theory. You know they at least considered it.
