Great price for a great movie. Not the best looking Blu-Ray but a definite step up from the DVD and it happens to be one of all time favorite movies. Too bad I already bought it.

Picked up Big Trouble in Little China as a part of the buy one get 1 free blu-ray deal at hastings, otherwise I'd be jumping on this deal. Great flick, good PQ and all the extras off the out-of-print 2-disc edition.

Just an FYI, both A History of Violence and the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly have shitty DNR'd transfers, so you should probably skip those.

Yea, Id look up info on some of these. Seems like companies are following the DVD route of releasing crappy versions of movies and then rereleasing them in collecers or special editions later on, and a few of these I think will fall under that (good, bad, ugly comes to mind). Good find, but Im tapped on my blu ray money for now, and will probably just wait till they release the SEs which will probably happen.

You shouldn't skip them if you just want to own the best presentation of those movies. It's not like there's an alternative (unless superior Blu-Rays exist in other regions).
You know what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like this?
"who's Jack Burton?"

Must...resist...The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. If you don't already own it (why?), buy it. And "I don't like Westerns" is not an excuse. It's the movie that got me into Westerns. Before it, I couldn't be bothered. Check it out. It's just a great movie, regardless of the genre.

On a related note, is there any word on the possibility of a set for the "trilogy?"
