I don't know much yet, just what I posted yesterday. It's going to be called 'Faces Of Mars'.

EDIT: It comes out Nov. 4th and it's actually going to be called 'THIS WAR'.
I was being sarcastic man, I hate those guys.
Gonna get some PSP games today. Tell me whats good and whats not.

I was really impressed with Brutal Legend. Damn it sure was funny.
I might do that Best Buy pre-order deal.

Yo Mak, I think you'd dig Homeboy Sandman. I love his verse on this song:

Ugh, forget it. The fuckin' code has the word "$$$" in it and it gets all fucked. But just youtube search this song: P.Casso - "Best In Show". Homeboy has the last verse.

Yes it was...I'm surprised there's not much talk over on the BL thread.

I'll check it out when I get home.

$10 off another game $29 or higher and the free album case.
Brutal Legend looked corny as fuck! with that art style I saw a while back.
You should really try it before you condemn it.

That $10 off is only good when you preorder though
You and LinkinPrime thinking it's funny might be condemnation enough.
. . and everyone who writes for the New Yorker is white.

from the people who went to Pax and played it they're all pre-ordering it now after originally having zero interest in it.
You should really try it before you condemn it.
Who's condemning it? I was giving you my impression of it, based on what the developer released to the public.
. . and everyone who writes for the New Yorker is white.
Well, yeah.
Anyone know what the trade in value is on Wireless PS3 guitars, specifically the one that does not have the slider buttons, at Gamestop? I picked up 2 bundles this week at Tar-Jay, so I'm going to trade in the controller, 2 copies of WT and a copy of Fracture for the 25% Bonus credit.
Are the WT games for different platforms -- usually GS refuses to take additional copies of the same game for the same platform.

Wow . . .

IMO it's better (it's funnier and more fun to play) than both the Curse of Monkey Islands and Psychonauts (which didn't knock me over).

The Heavy Metal humor is very tongue and cheek even dry at times. The jabs at "rap rock" and pop-metal were hilarious.

Yes it has a strange aesthetic, but every Schafer game that I know of does- it's part of his verve. The art style really reminded me of his in Full Throttle but Brutal was much better; it's fuller and more fleshed out.

The environments are quirky but at the same time are way over-the-top like an 80's metal album cover (the cheesy DIO variety).

I went from planning on renting or bargain-bin nabbing this to wanting to day one it.

The demo was great! Combat was a little clunky, but seemed like it could have potential.... The writing and voice acting was top notch... so were the aesthetics... that whole "i'm in this heavy metal dimension" thing was done extremely well.

This. It was on the list of "games I might check out eventually" to "This is something I want to play now."

Exactly, if someone were to just describe the concept to you and show you some stills you might only show a passing interest.

However, seeing the concept so well executed is what really peaked my interest, I'm hooked. I wanna see where it's going, how it gets there, and everything along the way.

If it can keep the humor up then I can definitely justify the purchase.
What's the gameplay like? I thought it was action, but from reading about it it seems like strategy.
It's brawler with combos, but it's got vehicle combat & puzzles. It even has some rhythm game mechanics.
Are the WT games for different platforms -- usually GS refuses to take additional copies of the same game for the same platform.
:bomb: No, they are both for the PS3. And considering Fracture (PS3) is on the $2.00 list, that won't qualify anyway.

I'll probably just keep the sealed WT and donate it to CAG for the Childs Play Raffle in December, if Cheapy does it again. The open Fracture and WT I'll just yard sale, I guess. Unless anyone here wants them?

yeah that was more or less everyone's consensus on it and none are heavy metal fans, from what I know anyways.

Hey senorwoohoo, you listen to Survival Skills yet? I think I'm gonna go grab it after work today. I just can't turn down a Duck Down release for $8.

Got the Blood and Bone movie with Gina Carano and Kimbo Slice from Netflix. I'm not expecting much but hopefully its a decent movie.

Nah, not yet. Been listenin' to too much stuff for review, like Brother Ali, Nicolay, and now Dizzee Rascal.
How many times on average do you listen to an album before you feel comfortable enough to review it?
Three to five. Also make sure to listen in different circumstances: On my PC's speakers, which are fine, and then headphones and (sometimes) my home theater shit.
I saw that, they owe me a $200 GC that is two weeks late too.
Trakan/Hellbringer use this code 6FWJ247J1P44CK to drop down the price to $42.79
