I just stopped by F.Y.E. and they have the complete series of Fraggle Rock on sale for $49.99 from $139.99. I saw this a few weeks ago as well. After doing some research, it turns out they're clearing out the old big-box version with the utterly pathetic packaging.

They're finally releasing Season 4 by itself, and re-issuing the complete series in a better package (most likely the individual 1-4 box packaging in a slipcase).

Amazon has the new version for $71.99, available 11/04 along with season 4.

Gravel: be prepared for badly scratched and/or loose discs in your big-box set. Keep your receipt and open it ASAP to inspect everything and exchange it for a better one if need be. Fortunately, by buying it B&M, your chances of having a good set are much higher. Those who have bought online from Amazon and other places have mostly been disappointed at best with what they received after it went through the shipping process.

Yeah, I was a little worried after I read some of the reviews on Amazon, but I already gave it to her, and the discs are flawless.
