Far Cry 2 is free with the purchase for a 360 Slim Arcade, so I think it was causing some conflict in the computer. Or they were just worried about running out of Far Cry 2's (giggle) to give away during the promotion.

My closest Fred Meyer must have at least 150 copies of Halo Reach still in their cabinet since the release date. They'll never have to worry about running out of those!

Probably not, but they probably have coupons as well.

I checked the local Kroger variant (Smiths) and there was no equivalent coupon that I could find. Oh well.
