Includes games like God of War, Shadow of the Colussus, Jak 3, etc. I think it depends on what the store has.

Also I saw in another newspaper insert they have some 9.99 games marked down to 5.00. I saw xbox Simpsons Hit and Run, Deus Ex: Invisible War. For ps2 I saw Gun, Tokyo Extreme Racer and Pro Bass Challenge. I asked the guy in the store and he said any title that was 9.99 was marked down. Anyways I did pick up Gun for that price. This might be YMMV, but I'll check around.

Hah - I saw the Ecko LE at $9.99 and thought that was interesting, but it didn't have one of the sale tags on the shelf. I thought it was only selected titles marked down to $4.99 - didn't realize it was ALL $9.99 games. I'll have to check again to see if there's anything else in there I might want. I was at 2 FM's yesterday and they had specific yellow shelf tags for the $4.99 games and it seemed like it was only about 10 games, all of which were crap except for Simpsons H&R (and fortunately I was able to get a $1.99 copy a while back). They also had a shelf tag for Godzilla Save the Earth, which I think is pretty rare (at least on PS2 it is). Of course they didn't have a copy. So that's why it is wierd they didn't have the Ecko LE with a tag if it is really also $4.99.

It sucks on Simpsons Hit & Run for Xbox because that was a $1.99 clearance game (even the ones in PH packaging) a few months ago then mysteriously it went off clearance (and back to $9.99).

Also note that clearance stuff is 30% off but there hasn't been much added recently. I did notice that some of the 2-pack games are clearanced for $9.97 now. One was the Xbox Dave Mirra/Prince of Persia bundle.
 
King Kong for ps2 is 4.99, um The Namco Collection, Bad Boys, The Bible Game, and I saw a few others that weren't really that interesting. I might try to get King Kong is it worth 4.99? Gamestop seems to think so, it got a pretty good review.

For $5? Sure. I have the 360 version (which I haven't played yet) from the $9.90 TRU online/GCO deal a while back. But if I didn't have a 360 I'd get the PS2 one for $5.

My local store has a boatload of DOA Ultimate Collector's Edition. I guess those are $4.99 too, though there was no specific shelf tag for it. (I did see the Marc Ecko LE tag this time though, but they didn't have the game).

The big news is that they are expecting a clearance on all remaining Gamecube titles some time soon. They've been told they are eliminating them entirely from their inventory. Right now they are getting rid of most of the Xbox stuff and after that it should be Gamecube. I'm really hoping to score a Baten Kaitos Origins cheap (it is still $39.99 there now - my local store has 3 copies).
 
:lol:, I kind of consider Gun and King Kong as being on a similar level, and I picked up both cheap for the 360 but would have gotten them for the 'cube or PS2 if not. Neither was worth anything close to the original $50 (or $60) MSRP, but for $5, hey, you can't lose.
 
Getting Up rocks. I love it. BUT you have to unlock the faster spray painting first and get better at combat. The tram stage is one of the best levels in a video game I've ever played. It has the perfect song from Bloc Party playing during it.
