I was doing my monthly shopping at Sams Club in Frederick MD and they had a bunch of the 60GB PS3's with and extra controller for $643 (a bunch I mean 10+). I got the I gotta get one itch then I remember looking at the release list for the next year.....
Unless you are fan of cookie cutter FPS games and same every year sports games.....until FF13 comes out what is the real benefit of getting this system until next year (Blu Ray is not a benefit IMO unless you have a $10,000+ home AV system to really enjoy it)? Almost all of the Sony exclusives are on the 360 now.
I am not attacking Sony Fanboys but even after using the controller it feels cheap to me compared to the old dual shock and the 360 controller.
Oh well.....
From an in-between casual/hardcore gamer, the PS3 is not a good deal unless you like the above games.
