I used it to buy a $15 best buy gift card ..i assumed it would be safer to buy a physical card than egfit card..that way i can use it later on black friday..

This actually works at any of the visa check out retailers including newegg which sells other types of gift card..but most ppl having GCU would probably prefer a best buy card...

So everytime i do visacheckout on bestbuy it keeps asking me to choose/enter credit info...shouldn't visacheckout autofill info from my visacheckout saved profiles?

Yeah, that sounds weird. The way you described it after was how it worked for me. I just clicked the visacheckout icon then it directed me to login with visacheckout info. Then I selected which card I wanted to use on my visa account from the saved options.
