Once the PDF version of the coupon was posted on Oprah's site, there was no way to restrict the use to one per person, as was originally intended. As soon as I saw that link I knew it was over. People could literally get multiple free meals a day for the next 2 weeks? Not going to happen.
The backlash on Oprah's site is interesting, but misdirected. I wonder if she will put any spin control on it? I believe that someone at oprah.com put the PDF on the Oprah site because so many people where whining about their trouble printing from the coupons.com site (which was doing it's best to restrict the coupons to 2 per computer). In effect someone at oprah.com sabotaged the promotion by circumventing the coupons.com re-printing restrictions, and now KFC is going to take the hit for it... Nice.
The same terms that applied to the original coupon still apply to the 'rain check', although they have extended the expiration date, so you will still only have about 2 weeks to redeem after you get it. This is KFC's way of still honoring the original terms (1 per person), and not get too much bad press. The only people that are upset are those that were going to rape the offer anyway...

Edit: several of the local chicken shacks that normally honor anyone else's coupons have also taken exception to this one. Way to go, Oprah!
I'm kinda late to this. I have a legit coupon that starts with 0227. Does this mean, all the people who made 200 copies of the 123 PDF ruined the deal for the rest of us? And now we have to visit KFC twice to get the free meal? Why couldn't they just make unique bar code on the coupons? Wouldn't have prevented the whole mess?
