Hmm...maybe I should do this as I want to stock up on PS2s and I'd love a white one...

On the other hand, I was waiting for the next revision and a $30 price drop. Not sure what to do.

I actually just picked up the White PS2 w/ Singstar Pop for $149.99 with a $40 GC. There is actually a black and white flyer in the PS2 section. Just for reference, I went to the Milpitas, CA (McCarthy Ranch) location.

Definitely waiting for the Version 2.0 Slim. Internal power supply is ownage, especially for carrying around the system.

I still play my almost 25-year-old system. Was just playing a 20 year old game on it yesterday, as a matter of fact.

But no way in hell am I spending any money on another PS2 until they get the internal power supply.
 
I saw the black and white copy sign in the video game department for this sale as well. It was a tiny sign, like they didn't want anyone to notice it. $30 gift card for the black or silver PS2 and $40 gift card for the white one.

How exactly is the internal power supply that good? Also I hope a new slim model would be able to read USB via memory stick and such.
 
I picked one up at the Wilmington, DE store yesterday afternoon. There were a few black and white sale printouts hanging where the PS2's were stocked.

Sold my old PS2 to a coworker for $60, so $40 to upgrade to save space was more than worth it for me.

I would definitely consider jumping on this deal, but trying to figure out which would be better deal Singstar bundle, a Silver PS2 system, or waiting for the next PS2 revision. :)

Also, is this deal just for this week?
 
why don't they advertise this promotion? that would greatly help sales. Also any idea how long the promotion is going on for?
