Man. I'm with you on that great day. Did an interview for a job at Target. Got home and found out the new Angels and Airwaves leaked. NOW just got Guitar Hero 2 and Elder Scrolls Oblivion GOTY in the mail.

Actually it says you have a week to cancel after it arrives, so I'm assuming they keep track of when it arrives to you via Delivery Confirmation of some sort. I'm going to cancel my Disney tonight and see how that goes.
 
I just did Stamps, At Home whatsits, Blockbuster and Gamefly. The first two credited right away and I ordered GHIII.

Not sure what I'll get when I get the points for the other two.

Oh. I thought the trial ended a week after you started.

Well, I guess it wouldn't be so bad then. Still, if this email way works, I think it worked out much easier.

Yeah, especially since there's something like...4 or 5 scholastic offers on the site. I'm going to check my card and make sure I haven't been charged for the one I canceled and sign up for another one now.

EDIT: I did just notice this tidbit of information on Trainn's site: Immediate cancellations of the product or service will result in credit being revoked and your account being closed.

A bit scary.

EDIT 2: I just did the Interactive Kids Club and the confirmation e-mail does NOT have a link to cancel. It's fully refundable though, so I'm not worried about it
 
Hey, do you guys think that the GHIII will be ok to be returned to a normal store? I'm kinda wanting to just pick it up at Target or some such and return the one I get. I assume even if it ships from Red Octane that it will be the same retail copy available everywhere?

Depends if they actually ship it inside of something, or just use the box it comes in to ship it. I know when I ordered my xbox 360 last year amazon just stuck a mailing label on the 360 box and shipped it like that.
 
hey for the Stamps offer, what do I need to do when I load the software? According to the site it says I need to print out the stamps as well, but I wasn't sure how to do that

you run the software and print out at least 1 stamp. You have a credit of $5. So just stick in a piece of paper in the printer and follow the instructions and then hit "print postage" and you should be good to go. Let me know if you have any more questions.
 
so since gamefly doesnt look like its gonna credit anyone soon, should i do another offer so i can get gh3 in time?

also when i do get credit for gamefly will it count towards a new game if i do another offer for gh3

Well, I would say I didn't immediately cancel the trial. ;)

I could see them doing this if a user consistantly cancelled right after they were credited. I think my Scholastic trial went for a couple days before I cancelled.

Yeah, you're right. Also I've already been credited for Interactive Kids Club so that's a plus at least.
 
Hey guys, Question. Does the time that you complete an offer matter? For example, If I were to complete an offer at 11:30 pm.. does that affect the time in which the offer is credited? - thanks.

Im going to try the Stamps.com, and the At Home offer.

doubtful it matters, its all automated considering how quick some of them get approved, I work nights and I did my first 6 offers before 6am EST

I am officially in love with Trainn, earlier today Im worried becuase nothing arrived USPS, my MCRs are sitting there 6 days.....

6 hours later, both of my games have arrived
 
err how long does it take for the credit from a MCR to go through it says on my progress i completed 2 offers just it doesnt say i completed gamefly for 1 credit and on the offers page it says i need to do 1 more offer

I also have two pending offers. Right now I have two greens but on the front page I dont see my gamefly or complete home information as me having completed them. I also tried getting an item but it wont allow me to so I think there is a minor problem with the site at the problem. Not sure if this is the same thing happening to you.

I was all excited that my greens finally showed up but didnt see a credit history on my 2 offers. WHen I click to order it takes me to select item and brinsg me back to this page. How weird just wait and see.

Wha...I just went to login to the site, and I only had one completed credit...yet now it says I have 2 and I can order a game and it doesn't say that any of my offers have went through.

EDIT: Guess I'm not the only one, I can't order either.

I signed up for At Home Rewards, and cancelled it online. I tried to cancel Your Savings Club, but couldn't. I tired both the automated phone system and online, but online it shows as being only for Canada. Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do?
Also, I have not shown my referall link to anyone or done any other offers, but all of a sudden my next two offers both show as being completed. I had done Stamps.com and At Home rewards, and ordered Bioshock so I had two uncompleted offers. Then, all of a sudden I check tonight and I have two completed offers. Did someone sign up under me, or what? Anyone else had this happen?

Me too. Had one credit and now I have two. check your MCR list, it shows I filed and recieved an MCR for at home, which I didn't have to MCR for it. I think it's a slght glitch that'll correct itself in a little while.

1) As far as I know, they're not country specific. If you never got an email from savings club (check spam), did you do either simply you or privacy matters? If you did either of those first you're already signed up for savings club. I did all three and got one membership number for savings club. so 3 offers, 4 things to cancel.

havent tried to order yet, but will now to see

yep same deal, I try to order but it goes in a vicious circle and doesnt go through

I bet one dude screwed it up lol

yep my screen looks exactly the same

my two new offers that I filed MCRs for are not reflected in the bottom list but I have the check marks

when I try to order it goes right back to the game selection list
 
What the heck?

It gave me a second green for my Great Fun offer, but didn't have it listed as credited.

Now, I check back the green is gone and STILL no credit for Great Fun.

I filed a MCR...Hopefully, I get word.

yea I had the same prob as did two others in this thread.

I had two offers on MCR, log on tonight and they were green, they were not on my completed list and I couldnt order, the link was there but it didnt work. Now, the greens are gone completely.

its good that there are multiples of us having the same sort of prob, I sent a support ticket in as well

I would bet it'll be fixed soon.

I was all set to do some new offers but gonna wait till this sorted.

I just signed up for Privacy matters, hoping to get a member number for Your Savings Club but still no email from them. I again called, but still was unable to cancel. ALl I get is an error message that says "Pleases send us an email at [email protected]" when I enter my phone number or Privacy Matters phone number. Is it possible that I wasn't signed up for it? Or could I be calling the wrong number. ON the website they have this number:

I'm not sure I understand you...do you not have your member number or does the phone number not work?
Go to http://www.yoursavingsclub.com and go to "forgot id" to get your membership number if it never sent. You can also cancel from there, just save the cancellation confirmation email and you're good.
 
Just got my FREE copy of Half-Life 2:The Orange Box yesterday in the mail! I got an email last saturday that my order had shipped but when I got the game yesterday it said it was shipped out via UPS Next Day Air Saver. That usually guarantees next day delivery before 6pm, so there must be a delay between when the order is sent for processing and actual shipment.

Actually I just looked at the UPS tracking detail and it didn't ship until Wednesday...

Oh well, its still a free game so you cannot beat that deal!

yep I noticed that too on mine I got both of my games yesterday via UPS, one "supposedly" shipped Friday, and the other supposedly shipped Saturday

both were next day air from UPS, shipped on Wednesday, one was GHII and the box was absolutely massive, it looked like a coffin
 
Woah... logged in this morning to check if some of my recent offers got credited and noticed that my Guitar Hero 3 Bundle changed from Preorder to Shipped. I guess I'm getting this bundle from somewhere other than Amazon cause Amazon never ships me stuff before the Street Date. Or maybe since its Friday and the street date is Sunday they shipping early? Either way I should get my GH3 bundle by Tuesday/Wednesday!!! Or if it's coming from Gamestop or CircuitCity I might even get it by Saturday/Monday!!!

The status " Shipped " varies....depending on item location. My shipping estimate for halo 3 was October 16, but didnt get shipped out till the 17th. I got it on the 19th......so with your GH3 it might say shipped on trainn's site but since GH3 street date is sunday they will probably ship it out monday or tuesday.

A few days ago the only seller through Amazon that had the bundle was RedOctane, which shipped out their preorders yesterday, maybe some today.

Now it's showing no one at all. My Trainn status is still Pre-Order..I hope an order got through to someone >.
