I have a question for everybody who finished the bidz.com offer. I already completed the offer and received the (extremely crappy and overpriced) necklace. Do I have to cancel my account with them? From my understanding, it is an auction site like ebay which means I can just leave it open and untouched. I'm not 100% sure though b/c I have had to cancel all the offers I've completed so far through the site.
Don't leave that account open!
If you aren't going to use it again, I would cancel it. I personally don't know if they will charge you anything in the future, but, better safe than sorry.
Ok, I signed up for Privacy Matters yesterday at 2:50 PM Eastern, so just about a whole day has passed now.
I see no money taken out of my account at all, yet I still went green on YF360games. I also recieved the e-mail from Privacy Matters. For anyone who has done a lot of offers, is that normal, because the other two offers I did (Stamps and At Home Rewards) took the $1 out almost instantly.
I never got an e-mail from Your Savings Club, however, and I'm kinda worried about that. How am I supposed to know my membership ID and such?
Your username/password and such wasn't given to you on the last page of signing up for the trial?
If it wasn't, when you call to cancel, just let them know you didn't get your membership number. When you use your credit card, they have your information. Their systems can find you without a member number.
Hey guys, question...
If you complete an offer but don't get credit, and the trial period is only 7 days, what should you do? If I cancel on day 6, and file an MCR on day 7, will that hurt my chances of actually getting the credit? Or what? I've heard people saying I should wait until day 8 to even try and cancel, but won't I get charged by then..?
So far, I've done Privacy Matters and At Home Rewards, both of which I got credit for instantly. I then did Great Fun but haven't received any credit. I also got signed up for "Your Savings Club"... not sure if that is part of another offer, or what.
Never let a trial run past the trial date (unless it's something you want to pay for). Even if you are going to need to file an MCR.
Your account will not be locked/banned/deleted if you cancel a trial after a
few days. I like to think four days is good on a seven day trial.
As far as MCR's go, I never have had any problems with them. I think the people in here that have haven't followed what I posted:
File the MCR on day seven.
After a couple days, email:
.
Let them know the details (filed MCR...ask for them to please check).
BE POLITE!
They should respond in about two or three days to your email.
Your MCR will process very quickly.
Of the 20 some offers I have done, only three needed MCR's. Of those, two were credited very quickly, and one took about nine days, because the representative said Blockbuster wasn't sending them the information they needed (but they eventually did).
Just got my at home rewards offers cancelled even though cancelling the savings club one was a pain in the ass because they never sent me my member # all went well. Now im thinking about signing up for Privacy Matters and I was wondering can I use the same CC and also do they sign me up for Your Savings Club again? Thanks guys im only 1 offer away from GH3!
When I signed up for both on the same day, I only needed to cancel YSC once. I'm thinking you would only need to do it once as well.
Still, if you are worried about it after doing Privacy Matters, I would just call YSC and say you wanted to confirm you were cancelled. They will check your account information on file, and will let you know whether you are cancelled or not. That is what I did to be 100% sure.
Cancelled my Google SEO trial earlier. The representative sounded depressed. And she didn't even ask why I was cancelling, or any of that jazz.
