What kind of hoops do you have to jump through, if any, to cancel stamps.com? And if I cancel about a week or so after completion, will my credit be taken away?

I have gotten that before too. I think that is what happens when you try to use a prepaid card.

Dont know never got that message but i heard alot of people are getting the same message..

My question would be if i order to guitar hero 3's at the same time will they ship both out to me the same day, i may have to get two of these bad boys.

They will try to get you to stay by offering you another free month, etc...just kindly reply that you are not interested in continuing their service, and that you are certain you want to cancel. They are pretty good about it, and will close out your account. Make sure you take down your cancellation reference number just incase something goes wrong.

I've had a hell of a time getting my gift certificate as well. I just got off the phone with Amazon and they insist that I will receive one within the next 48 hours... we'll see.

Haha, they are easy now. I remember when I signed up that offer this same time last year with another company besides Trainn. I called 3 times by phone only to wait on hold for 40 minutes, then on the 3rd call I finally got in to cancel. They said I was canceled but 6 months later I was still being charged. Luckily a report to the BBB got me my $100 back. Part of me wonders if I helped make the customer support better.

After 7 days, my GameFly was not credited. I sent in a Credit Request this morning, including copy/pasting my entire "Welcome to GameFly!" email, with full headers. I received credit in about 6-8 hours. My account was still active, and will remain active until the very end of the period. (Playing through BioShock now!)

Very quick, easy credit request. Now I have two...but I think I'll wait on spending any credits until I know whether Rock Band is added next month.
 
Sweet!!! Gamefly AND Great Fun both went green for me this afternoon! Time to place my order! Woot! For the first time ever, I won't have to file an MCR. Glorious!
 
Anyone who had their games ship this past Friday/Saturday receive their games yet? Please post when you do so we have some idea how long these weekend shipments are taking to arrive! Thanks in advance!
 
I got my GHII shipment email on Saturday. I'll post again when I get it, hopefully tomorrow. Jusdt my luck it'll come when I'm off from work on Wednesday.

Oh, is anyone having a hard time getting offers to go through? I signed up for emusic AND dr. seuss and didn't get confirmation e-mails or anything for either one. Those are both instant and same day offers.

On a good note, the Dr. Seuss Book Club offer credited in under five minutes, which means I have two credits awaiting the November update!

I will add my usual offer information as soon as I receive an email from the book club company. If I don't get one, I will post information when I receive the trial book(s).
 
Does anyone come to this referral board and just laugh? I mean, I see a new "get this for free by getting 70000 referrals" and then I come to this thread with proven success and love how this site gets you a 60-90 dollar game for 2 minutes of time.

Do Prepaid credit cards work on these offers, Id like to try them all without having to go through banks and wrack up my interest.

also i placed an order a couple days ago for GHIII and now it says processing...Does it take a week to go to "now shipping"?

GHIII isn't even available to the public yet. It releases October 28th. As for the prepaid credit cards, you can get banned for using them on their site and most of the offers don't work.
 
can the front page be updated with info on the new offers? curious about the dr. Seus offer. Don't have kids but always gave my parents hell for not reading them to me. Maybe I should be prepared for when its my time.

I know GHIII isnt released yet, just wondering how long that whole "Processing" thing take.

Also, I tried the blockbuster offer and was fine with 9.99 charge i rented 3 movies The grindhouse films and transformers and a blockbuster is just around the corner, but i found another charge from them of 10.58 on my card? Whats the deal with that?

I wanna try for COD4 but im willing to wait till after i cancel all the other offers first, and i dont wanna be screwed with Unesscesary or hidden charges. Ive already had problems with bank as it is.

The frontpage shows all the offers I have done. I really can't put anymore offers up until I do more! At this rate, I am nearly finished with their site, as most other offers charge more than $5-10.

I have done the Dr. Seuss trial, but won't be posting details until I have them. They haven't sent me an email (don't think they're going to) and I don't have the cancellation number and such yet. When I have that information, I will post it.

Yea, thats when I got my email for GHII too. Im just wondering if its really shipped at that time, or if they just put the order in then (to Amazon/Red Octane/whereever) If that's the case, it probably didn't get physically shipped by whereever they ordered it till today (Mon) or maybe thats what "processing" is for. Either way, I dont expect it any later than Thurs or so.

I've actually got two games en route from them got one shipped email on Fri, another on Sat.

I'm hoping that there's a bit of a delay, that it had already shipped from amazon before it changed on the trainn site from processing to shipped. Hope springs eternal...

Oho, so the referral aspect of this program has been axed in the past few months? Interesting. Oh, well...it was getting pretty messy anyway. Anyway, my Dr Seuss book club credit went through in 3 minutes. Now I just need Emusic to clear and I'm all set for my GH3 bundle...although i may hold off on cashing in my credits until next month to see what the deal is with Rock Band. If I can snag that for 1 more credit or something I'll be all over it.

Pity the Dr Seuss package doesn't have the Butter Battle Book. Best. Book. Ever.
 
Shoot, now I am wondering if I should have waited for rock band!!! Agh well, I loved Guitar Hero II so I am guessing Guitar Hero III will be just as much fun. Plus I will have two guitars in my apartment, which will be good for multiplayer. Heck, what am I saying? I ordered the GHIII Bundle for free! I shouldn't even be complaining!
 
Has anyone had to do MCR's for EAuction?

It went through fine, in fact I got the CD thing in the mail today, but I was curious as to how long an MCR may take.

I also had to do one for Stamps, but reading past posts it seems Im in for a wait on that one.

I did both MCRs on the same day (this past Friday) so was just curious as to what turnaround time is like for other people that experienced what I am experiencing.

This process can take anywhere from a few days, to a week or two, depending on how fast Trainn receives the information they requested from the vendor. Once they get confirmation, Trainn will send you an email and green light your offer. The trick is to be patient. Sometimes filing a support ticket asking for an update regarding your MCR helps. It varies from vendor to vendor. If it takes longer than two weeks, something is wrong and you should contact Trainn to see what happened.

The point in making newly registered users wait 30 days is so some numbnuts can't make an account and spam the crap out of the boards. Also I'd like to think that the newly minted cags can read and learn, so when they can start making threads they don't come off as sounding retarded.

Thanks. I was thinking about doing this one and the Care Bear one. I have two young daughters so both offers will be worth doing, unlike every other offer. :lol:

My last two haven't gone green though. I will probably wait until that happens or until you post your experience and info.
 
Finally got credit for Zooba after signing up 3 weeks ago. Had to submit a MCR after 7 days, then waited the 10 business days for them to contact the vendor, then submitted a support request with the headers of an email (not the confirmation email, since I never got one) from Zooba and my member id. They credited it the same day I submitted the support request.

For both my MCRs (Stamps.com and Zooba) I've had to submit the MCR, wait 10 business days, and then submit a support request in order to get the credit.

The 360 Game site still allows referrals, and you are welcomed to create your own thread however this thread use to be a conga, but when made into a new thread, left off the conga half due to the messiness I believe and thus is an informational thread, rather than a "spam your referral URL please" thread ... nonetheless, feel free to make your own thread at any point and time as long as you meet the requirements, or don't have a current thread [as the rule is one thread, per user]

Yea, both of those were instant for me too. Seems like alot of people have problems with Stamps.com, guess we got lucky!
 
Random question, this doesn't relate to anything, but I was wondering if anyone ever had a credit revoked? I've been keeping up with this thread for god knows how long, and I've never seen anyone complain about it...so I've just wondered if it has ever happened?
 
quick Q: let's say all the "good" offers are used up on the single e-mail acct, can another e-mail be used to sign up on the site and go on w/ more offers etc?
