Free 400 Points from MS- Check your Emails

Got it today as well

I am part of the rewards beta program.
I have had Live for 4 years.
I have not played Halo 2 in years.
I did purchase arcade games during their sale last week.
I also got the 2 free months of Live in February.
 
I know that Bungie was rewarding people who had Halo 2 played on their Gamertags with Live time, MS points, and access to the Halo:Reach beta as a farewell to original Xbox game Live support.

Not sure if that's related.

Seems to be the Rewards Program thing.

I'll have to check the Email. I wonder if being a Silver member currently will hurt me here?

I ran out of Gold back in early January, and since I don't like paying MS I didn't renew. :shock:

P.S. What is this Rewards Program? Is it invite only, or is it just something I sign up for?

apparently it's just an open link that will show to anyone because there is no sign up or anything so it's basically useless.
 
I thought this was a joke at first. Over 2 years on XBL and not once even gotten anything free from MS in an email. :cry:

Guess I'll keep my eye out for these. What's this rewards program anyways?
 
I got mine! It's kind of cool after coming home from working on a computer with a bunch of viruses and worms, to get 400 points from Microsoft. It's like a "thank you for putting up with us and our operating system."

:bomb: I couldve borrowed my friends Halo 2! I really want access to the beta but I dont have ODST and cant afford it :(

but anyways no code for me either :(

Its has nothing to do with Halo. I got it and a Halo game has never entered my disc tray.

It says that for everyone, it also says (right below that):

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a test program and all test participants have already been notified of their acceptance. The pilot enrollment is currently closed, and we have no plans to expand the test groups at this time. If this should change, we may decide to notify additional prospective test participants by sending out additional invitations. If you’ve received your notification of acceptance already, thank you for participating in this pilot!

Same. I'm not even in the rewards program and got one. It has to be random.
 
I got spammed twice on April 8th from Xbox for Alan Wake with the following subject lines.

"Uncover the mystery."
"Illuminate the mystery."

The email also says "Unravel the mystery."

Got no e-mail. Hell, I still haven't gotten my pts from that promotion where you would buy 800 pts and get back 400pts back from Madden or whatever it was.
 
Got mine. I've had XBL Gold for a little over a year and I'm also in the rewards program.

I didn't get the pts last month, but they did send me codes for two free months of XBL Gold.
 
I forgot Halo2 ends this Thursday. So sad, so seemingly unnecessary... I would love if they sent some Halo2 maps to Halo3. I miss Headlong, Waterworks, and the rest of the crew. Time to see if I can find my Halo2 game to play on its last day.

i think its because ms is thanking every player because he sometime played an original xbox game. i got it. and im silver. and the ones who got it will be awarded 3 months of xbox live free since tomorrow. check your account status tomorrow and you'll see

That is not it I have been playing splinter cell chaos theroy for over 3 months and still have nothing.
 
ooooooohhhhhh. wait yeah. it is the reward program. im in it :) i didnt know. and know that i check my emails i have the 2 months of live :) damn i love u microsoft. lol. and u get 100 points for every time u answer a survey they send u
