You do realize that DVD Movies are not the same as Consumer DVD -/+ R/RW?

Many movie DVD(s) are larger then 4.7GB and thus you will be force to use a compression scheme (WMV, DivX, etc.) or edit the movie to make it fit (i.e. ignore the special features, etc.).

Just download DVD X Copy Xpress, burns perfect copies of just the video and dolby surround sound off a dvd.

I've backed up my copy of Requiem for a Dream, a 8.9 GB dvd, with all menues, extras, various sound formats, and language support. It's very easy.
