Am I the only one who finds it strange that on Amazon's website, the link to download the Amazon Mobile App is a direct link to the GooglePlay version, rather than through the Amazon Appstore?

Yeah, I thought that was odd too. Also, you end up having to download the Prime Instant Video app to even play the videos.

You can play any purchased Amazon Instant Video movies or TV shows via the app, not just Prime eligible ones. So maybe those without Prime might be able to get it too. There are lots of free episodes you can buy and watch.

Hmm, not sure if I'm doing it right. I got the Prime Video app, but the only things that I can see that are for free are trailers. I played one and got an email about a promotional credit, but its only for a $1 MP3 credit.

Am I doing something wrong? Can someone list a video they used and got the credit with?

Ok so you must also have the Amazon Prime Video App. Because when I go to the menu for the Amazon store within the Amazon App, there is no option to watch a video...

Watching a Legend of Korra trailer worked for me, it just took a day. The fact that I need to have the Amazon app installed and signed in is extremely frustrating though.
