I use the service... is it as fast as netflix, NO ... however i use BOTH services at the same time (max netflix is 8 out) and i use blockbuster for 3... anyways i was just sent an email... free month of service for trial!! a WHOLE MONTH..


blockbuster is good, its better then expected, netflix is just faster cuz there is a local warehouse like 30 miles from here, so i do get stuff rather quick from them

also with bb, you get 2 instore rentals per month (7.99 is what it costs for games) so its a 15 value every month for a service that costs like 20....

AND

when i went to quit to program in the beginning, i got a 6 month counter offer for the same 1 month rate i pay, they gave me a 6 month program for like 20!!!!!! PLUS instore rentals... so afterwords of the 1 month, maybe pay for 1 month, then try and quit and they *SHOULD* counter offer you or whatever
 
I got that same email. It says pass it on to friends and it doesn't have a limit so go at it.
The in-store coupons make it well worth it, they work for new release movies and games so they're great.
 
I have BBO and enjoy it. Try it out for a month.

Have a question/possible great deal about the coupons. Rented my first game with one last week. Surprised that rentals cost $7 for a week now! Anyway, looked at my receipt and it discounted the $7 from the full price of the game incase I wanted to buy it. SO my question is, what if I go and re-rent the game using my other coupon, will it take another $7 off? THEN if I hang on to it long enough to use my next set of coupons and keep doing this, could I possible get the game for dirt cheap or even free?

Just a (cheap-ass) thought. :)

i doubt the counter now they got so many new people coming in they cant keep up with the demand. Why do you think almost all the new movies go straight to Short wait or Long wait. I had number of problems with BB0 and they fixxed them all before but this week i called to see why i didnt get my E coupons and they came out and said IF YOU DONT LIKE THE SERVICE THEN CANCELL.

they are growing way too fast to meet what they have and its just insane that they keep pushing BBO when they dont even have enough tapes to fill the demand for the people now.

I have only had 1 problem. That was when a movie got lost in the mail, they str=arted holding everything in my que. everything was-short wait, long wait, then the movie showed up and I was going to cancel. They cleared it up very quick and gave me a free month and now almost every movie is available and I receive them in 1-2 days.
Last month my coupons were late ( I never noticed it since I don't really check that often) and they apologized and gave 2 extra free e-coupons!!

march everyones E coupons were late they had a problem with the sub contractors who make the e coupons

It isn'y very hard to cancel from what I experienced. I just didn't go through with it all the way. I satyed with them and like it ok.

Yes the regular monthly price is $14.99 for the basic Friends and Family plan-3 out at a time.

new movies come out on Tuesday but They usually ship them on mondays

bad thing is if you dont get new releases the first week they come out it might takes weeks or months to get them i got a few movies that are still on a long wait list that i was waiting to get them back in FEB

also remember this summer they are going to start IN STORE RETURNS . Meaning you return your movies in store they scan them and the next movies are shipped right then , cutting down on shipping times. REMEMBER THOUGH this summer it will be in BETA and few stores will be doing this. They hope to go chainwide by XMAS 2005 with in store returns

There is also some talk about IN STORE RENTALS but i doubt that will ever happen since most of them have in store plans right now at almost twice what BBO charges

I had BB Online, but cancelled. Anyone know if I can use this trial? I doubt it. Most likely for "new" customers only.

Maybe if you used a different e-mail and credit/debit card to pay. I'm tempted to try it out but I have NO prinker INK for the in-store coupons. There's really nothing I want to rent either.

well say a movie came out on APRIL 12 they would usually have it in their data base ready to ship out on APRIL 11. BUT like i said if you want Major new releases you got to hope you get them in the first week cause if not they go into SHORT WAIT OR LONG WAIT by friday

it sucks in a way when you return a movie and a movie you want is now in but then your RETURN movie gets there one day later and all the movies you want are now Gone

yeah i used BBO as well. great service. However, when i cancelled my account, they sure as hell didn't counter me with an offer to keep me on. I honestly hoped that they would... oh well. no suck luck! thanks for the coupon, i'll definitely use it when i sign back up in a few months (long story).

I think your account must be in bad standing or you have some discrepancy. Most of the movies I want are "available now" and I just tried No Way Out 2005 and it is available now!! If I was you I would contact their Customer Service through email, they respond fairly quickly, and get that straightened out. :cool:

yea im going to call them cause it shows some movies that came out in March as coming soon?

ALSO you got to remember that It depends on how long you got the movies on your list is how they told me 2 months back

if you want say like oceans 12 and put it on the list back in FEB and someone puts it on the list today the person who put it on the list back in FEB would get it before the person who put it on th elist today
 
I just put The Woodsman and Ocean's 12 on my list on Monday and they both shipped yesterday. But you said No Way Out showed as "short wait" I just put it on my list and it says available.

no im saying i had NO WAY OUT on my List since The first of march ( i had 3 other movies go out and by the 2nd week of march the movie was on LONG WAIT LIST its now there for anyone who wants it

About the ocean 12 movie. Yea my shipped Tuesday but im saying if you would wait a week cause you already have movies out and the movie goes to SHORT OR LONG WAIT they are saying whoever has it on the list the longest gets the movie first.

could just be a bunch of bull they are giving me though cause they usually ship movies that are in the 20s on my list intead of my top 10 .. give you an idea whats in my list and what it shows

sucks when you got 3 movies out now and the movies you been waiting for a while now come in stock but when you got movies coming they are out of stock
