Blockbuster has released new codes that will allow you to get a free one night rental at your local Blockbuster Kiosk.
Enter the following codes for a free one night rental:
GL14A – Get a free rental (exp 6/30)
GT14A – Get a free rental (exp 6/30)

They began this late last year. I don't think I had a kiosk anywhere near me then. I know that 3 of the 4 stores near me closed within the past couple of years.
 
none near me in ny but there are a few near where i'll be staying in rhode island. What I don't understand is how they are able to limit a person from using this code more than once and for that matter how they stop people from using the code, getting your dvd, and keeping it.

my guess is u still have to swipe your Credit Card regardless if your using a free code or not, like redbox promo codes
 
once the dvd is in your cart you can enter a promo code, the code will take whatever discount it is off the total (They also do a lot of rent 1 get 1 free codes). You still have to swipe your credit card (although blockbuster doesn't store your CC information like Redbox does long term), and you can only use the code once per card. If you fail to return the dvd by 9pm the next day they charge you $1 for every day it's late till I think 5-7 days when they charge the DVD at full retail price to your card.
