I don't see how ordering the max they let you is anymore shady. Especially since I have no intention in trying to resell these.
 
Mine shipped, thanks for sharing! I ordered a couple separately to send to my cousin and auntie who don't have Prime and they also shipped.
 
I have no desire to own this but a free book with free 2 day shipping? What the hell, ill take it. Now we just have to wait for a trade in value and then we can send our free books back.

Maybe they are giving them away to local libraries? I don't know what I will do with the one I ordered!
 
My aunt actually runs the children's section of the San Diego public library and I was thinking of sending her a few for them to give out. Better use of these books than a random dude ordering a bunch just to take photos of them and brag. There isn't going to be any resale value on these anyway with 10,000 floating around. Who knows, maybe some people will read this book and it'll get sales for the other books in the series.
 
I ordered 5 copies in total. Only one is for me. Now I log in to order a 6th for someone else I know and it seems to be out of stock. I guess they sold through their 10k copies.
 
Darn. Missed it. I don't care that people bought 5 copies and such, though. Nobody makes money from reselling books, at least not much. :) So I presume they are all going to friends/family. No biggie. Next time I'll need to be more diligent.

I would only have a problem with people that are buying them to hoard. All the copies I bought will be read and the single copy going to me will be passed on after I finish it. Maybe they will restock or do some more if we are lucky.
 
My two copies came in today, haven't got the package from the mail room yet but it's nice to know they're here. And I'll note I ordered one for me and one for my brother, not just to be a dick.

Cool, glad I found out about this now that they're out of stock and people in here ordered more than one copy. I can see maybe one extra, but 4, 5 +? Dick move.
