Hm, tried every letter and number combination and it said it wasn't valid. I figured if it was used, it'd say so.

Thanks! I think I redeemed it. It says it's activating the key with Steam right now.

The letter was a U.

I tried a couple more times, it would activate for a while and then same error message. And then it said it wasn't valid. So someone got it it seems, but not me.

Yeah I think I would've gotten it if I didn't start in order from the beginning of the alphabet lol. I started trying the instant the thread was posted. Congrats to whoever got it, but it's sad that it was most likely a lurker.

See, I don't think the code is right. Or if it is right, then it's invalid.

Whenever I enter a code that has already been used during a contest or Twitter giveaway or something, I get a "Duplicate Product - This product has already been registered" message. With this one, no matter what you type, you just get "Invalid Product Code."

I've already redeemed this key for Sanctum: 9ZYRK-ZKIX6-WW4ZH

Try entering it in. You should see what I mean. Why would this key be "invalid" if used keys come up as "duplicate?" =\

That's what I originally thought. It's possible that the TC accidentally posted the code wrong. Every letter that I tried gave me an invalid code.

You could also just use that voucher, then post the Steam code with the letter missing. ;)

Same here. Would've been a lot easier to guess the steam code. Trying to guess the code for nvidia promo site is a pain in the ass lol.
 
I know the perfect solution. People have to post a message that they want to see the code and when that message is posted the code will reveal in the first post .
 
The lurker situation has been discussed many times already in multiple threads. Even members take codes without saying anything. Nothing you can do about it. To the mods sorry for going off topic.
 
If you wan't to make it lurker proof have them pm you, then edit your post after its been claimed.

Even taking away a letter or number doesn't make it lurk proof, so thats why I won't even post a carrot prop in that code drop thread because 90% of the time a lurker gets it.

They should make code forums members only otherwise so you need to login to see them, should maybe be a little better and get rid of some lurkers?
