This is why I requested a feature in the site feedback forum. It would be like spoiler text, where it's only revealed if you click on it, however it would only be available to people who are signed in.

I wish more people would do this too. However, I can understand why some people don't, because it is more work. I don't want to push people to do that who are just trying to unload some unused codes on CAG. It's also tough to do when people have like 30 codes. I also don't like that people who win codes in this way can turn around and try to sell them or trade them because they either don't have the game or already own the content.

At least is for certain that, when a code is posted in the open..it will be used.

Many times when codes are sent trough private messages, the person that recieves the code go to sell it on eBay or trade it for something or with someone...like that dude that got the 1-month live codes in that other thread, just to put them on his trade-list.

If anything, people receiving the codes should also post some evidence (print screen, picture, etc.) that they actually used the code...IF..the one giving the code requests it.
