Here's how the Conga works. I'll post my referral link at the top of the list. When anyone signs up under me, post your referral link, and I'll add it under mine in the list. When I get 10, I'll remove mine from the top of the list, and everyone else's will move up. Since you only need to complete one offer and points credit quickly, the line should move pretty fast. Ill update asap.

When you post your referral link, make sure that you include
1) The offer that you completed
2) The link you signed up underneath
3) Your own personal link (so I can add it to the list)
4) Your email address (so we can verify you actually signed up under the person you claim.

IF YOU DONT FOLLOW THESE 4 RULES YOU WILL NOT BE ADDED TO THE LIST!!

As for offers, I would suggest Ancestry.com if you haven't already used that for something else (but I bet most of us have), with must be cancelled in 14 days but only costs $1.
The wrinkle cream sample costs $6.95 but must be RETURNED within 14 days (the sample) or you will be charged.
Video Professor is also $6.95 and everything but the one video you get to keep must be returned or you get charged.
I like to use "Return to Sender" for these type of things.

If you have already signed an account for freedesktoppc.com you cannot be a part of this conga. It just makes the list way too long and we can't add your name to it. Sorry
I just heard that the site has problems with Hotmail accounts. If you used a Hotmail account, I would switch it to another free email account from the Update Account Info screen.

When you sign up.......do not use the refferal ID from the bottom of this thread, but instead use this actual list below, I will be updating it frequently. Use the 1st ID below. ***The only way this will work is if you actually sign up and complete the offer. Good Luck!

Yeah don't make new congas just to try to get a cheap referral. Stick to the one thats already there, or neither one of your congas are going to work.
 
Jesus christ I think 5 congas are enough. Obviously not everyone is going to get a free iPod. Do you actually think that through the 5 offers they get 250 bucks PLUS enough to make it worth their time?

Way to read the topic, ex0. This isn't for freeipods, it for freedesktoppc, which requires 10 referrals.

Read that, and quit being ignorant. Gratis does make money, a lot. So your argument doesn't have a leg to stand on.

Look, people are just sick and tired of seeing all these stupid threads appear about these conga lines. Everyone who could be the slightest bit interested knows about it already, and those looking for referalls can simply add that to their sig. That way, they can make normal posts and still be advertising their referral, without having to start one of these ridiculous threads. Nobody gives a shit whether or not it's a scam anymore. By now people have made up their minds as to what they think it is, and nothing will change that. But the amount of threads regarding these conga lines is getting bigger every damn day, and that shouldn't be happening.

To those of you that get your Ipod/desktop/flatscreen/widgit, right on. Go you. Just please stop making threads. You are driving everyone insane.

I really don't see how that link helped your case at all.

Sure it's not a scam, it's just a really well-marketed pyramid scheme. What's the harm?

Oh, yes, well, I certainly agree with you that there shouldn't be half a dozen topics about it. But if there was just one single conga, then I don't see what the problem would be.

And, Odibil, the reason I posted that link was to show ex0 how Gratis makes money from doing this. Read more carefully next time, OK?

Righteous man, you totally understand. There should only be one conga per offer, and everyone can sig their referral if they want people to see it. It's a win-win situation that way. The conga-ers have their shot at a referral, the rest get clean, well-maintained boards where they can ignore what they'd rather not participate in.

Absolutly. In my opinion, people that sign up and the first post they make is a dupe conga (kinda like Gamer3823...) need at least a temporary ban, don't ya think? Anyway, glad we understand each other. :D
