Free Front Mission 4 Demo From Square..

It's in a shrinkwrapped DVD-size cardboard sleeve with screenshots on the back.
 
Yeah, I had to re-register at Squarenix, even though I've been registered since 2002.

I used it when I BETA tested FFXI too.

Then, when I went to redeem my FM4 disc, it just went wrong.

I registered again, and even lowered the security on my browser, and it still declined me.

It kept, and keeps, saying, that my first name is invalid.

I even called Squarenix, and they told me, the only thing they could do for me, was to try and register again.

Screw that.

Their EGO is so big, they could give 2 shits about me and my lousy demo.

At least I got a free HDD out of them.

Tell me how the demo is.

Mine showed up today. I didn't think I had registered for it, as I kept getting an error when I tried to sign up way back when.

Same here, but I just got mine today as well. Looks like they sent all of them off at the same time.
 
got mines Friday.....it is just as i expected. Plays just like FM3 but with voiceovers and updated graphics.
 
That's strange. I didn't get mine yet, and I'm pretty sure I was one of the first to sign up (30 minutes after Square's email arrived halfway through the night). My original account wouldn't work either so I had to create a new account to do it. Oh, and I live in MD. Hopefully, they didn't forget me; I'm probably going to get the game anyway but it'd be very disappointing if they don't send me the demo.

I also signed up right after that e-mail hit my inbox, so I'm sure I was one of the first to sign up well before the info started passing around the net. I'm surprised at how long they took to get it to me: I just received mine this afternoon. Oh well, better late than never.
 
i just signed up. I have neve rplayed any of the games but have only heard good things about them. Can anyone give me an idea of what they are like?
 
Got mine today (4/30) in Magalia, CA.

I'm not really into mech games or anything, but Front Mission 3 is a favorite of mine, and I have a feeling this is gonna kick Pucelle's ASS.

UPDATE FOR THOSE WHO GOT IT - HIDDEN 7TH SCENARIO!!!
After finishing the 6 scenarios and getting the "Thanks for Playing" screen, go to the list and hit X when NONE of the scenarios are highlighted. You will then go to the German base, and it's a 5 on 12 (!!) fight. Good luck.

JOst got mine. Gonna have to check it out tonight. More companies should offer demos like this. Kudos to Square for dumping it for free instead of packing it with one of their games.
 
Finally got mine today. I already reapplied yesterday though thinking it might have somehow got lost in the mail. It's strange the site let me reapply since when I tried doing it after applying for my original demo, they said that I had already applied and couldn't apply again. But I'm happy. Looks like I'll probably get this game. :p
 
I got it yesterday. It's OK from what I've played so far. I started the mission where I have to protect the plane and destroy the other enemies but I thought it was too boring. You basically have to attack an enemy wanzer like 12 times before it freakin dies. Bleh.
 
Got mine yesterday.

Amazing demo. I don't know if I have ever had a demo that took an hour to play through the first time. Nice nice. I can't wait for this game to come out.
