This promotion doesn't seem to work if you live in NYC... I called customer service and they confirmed that most shipping addresses in NYC place the DS lite and the "free" game in 2 separate shipments.

Called my brother in CT and he was able to see the promo discount all in 1 shipment. So, I asked him to order one for me and have it shipped to NYC... 2 shipments, no promo.

Just FYI if anyone in NYC is equally frustrated and unable to get the promotion to work.


Edit: Apparantly it has something to do with the "Express Local Shipping" options, I ended up ordering one with Nintendogs and the CS's finally manually discounted the 27.99 - thanks OP.

Hmmm, my sister does want a Pink DS Lite for her birthday, with her top two games being Nintendogs Dalmation and Friends and Diddy Kong Racing DS, so this could work out perfectly for me, thanks OP!
