it's really worth it.....I have already gotten Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow from this place and it only took me 2 days of posting and who does not enjoy talking about video games? that is what we are doing now.....

I get points, but I dont see why you guys would not want to join anyway, even if it is a referal link IT is really simple to get free games!! All you do is post. and it doesnt take many posts to get a game either. And soon prices will go up so its good to join now.

What do you mean by iffy? I have already got my game and shipping was free and everything and it only took me 2 days of posting stuff.

Advertising for a message board on someone elses message board is at the very least impolite. And then you want us to fall for this scam, AND you posted it in the deals section.

How the hell is this a scam? I already told you I already gopt my game. Now why in the hell would I ask people to join if it was a scam?

As you might know, we have a Viewtiful Joe contest going on. The winner will get a free copy of Viewtiful Joe sent to his home. If you didn't know, just click on the link to the left which reads "Free Viewtiful Joe(GC)". Well, here are some tips on how you can easily refer people and not spam

1. Refer friends on AIM. Tell all your aim buddies to sign up. Tell them that if they sign up and post, you will get closer to getting a free copy of Viewtiful Joe. If they care at all, they'll sign up.

2. Post the contest rules in your sig on big forums such as IGN(Insiders only), 1up, Gamespot, ect. Then, post the following.
"Just sign up to the forum using the following link, (Referal Link goes here) and start refering people

3. Post on your own website your referal link, using the same method as #2

4. Post it on chat rooms and such, explaining the contest details. Try not to spam.

These are just simple tips, but can get you 15 referals faster than you might think.

That game was already given out to gcooldud who is a member on the site. I got Splinter Cell because I bought it with the points I earned from posting an refering people

So as you can see it is not a scam!!!!

no I made 600 posts, and you get points like this

-Posting a reply gives you 10 GB's
-Posting a topic gives you 20 GB's
-Posting a 800 word post gives you 50 GB's
-Refering someone gives you 200 GB's
-Winning a quiz gives you 500 GB's

And I won like 2 quizes and posted like 500 posts and some were new topics. Also I rfered like 33 people when i got the game....

I think it's pretty clear that noone is interested in this KoolDrew. The few that may be interested in it can clearly see the link in your first post, or you can add it to your sig if it's that important to you.

But everyone else is right. It's very impolite to post a referral link (in the deals section no less), so just get over it. Otherwise, people are just gonna keep flaming you, and the only way you can stop it is to ask for a lock (hint hint, nudge nudge).
 
You know, I was just thinking the other day that there simply weren't enough referral scams around these days.

I really can't get enough of seeing a link for a free ipod or free flatscreen in every thread I read. I'm almost tempted to click the link and sign up with the false hope of getting something for nothing. Almost. And now free video games? This must be heaven.

We don't like people advertising on our message board, for other message boards, and with a referral link so that they can benefit from it.
