I think it was reviewed better than either norton and mcafee. It got a good review score in PC Magazine, I believe

Kaspersky 6.0 was rated the best antivirus program by this site:

I should probably buy this. The Kaspersk serial numbers I use keep getting blacklisted every couple of months.

A lot of Anti-virus programs have their detractors. I have never seen a five star antivirus program on Amazon.

That said....this program did receive better reviews..comparatively speaking.
