Free or 5 Dollar Copy of Battlefield 2 from GS/EB

I went into Gamestop to preorder a few upcoming games. After I finished I asked the guy if there are any demos that he could give out to me. He gave me two psp demos and two PC demos and a DDR Music sampler. One of the boxes however was not a demo. Apparently if you preorder Medal of Honor Airborne you will get a full version of Battlefield 2(DVD version) with a CD key and all. If your in good at your local gamestop just ask for some demos. If not just preorder MOH Airborne and you will receive this copy of Battlefield 2. I say free because some of you may actually want this game or like me just be able to ask for some demos after preordering other stuff. Pictures coming soon. ;)

Thanks for the info!I've been looking for my cd key for battlefield 2, and I don't find the booklet...so I am going to do that just for the cdkey.Thanks!
 
Wow, nice deal. Amazing that they're basically giving the game away like that with a preorder (not that I'd ever go through with buying the game if I do preorder it). I wonder how much do they require you to put down for the preorder though, they might raise it a bit since it includes a free game when you reserve it (although I suspect it's still $5).
 
Now THAT's the kind of preorder I could get behind.

Does Battlefield 2 have a real single player? My impression is it doesn't, so I ignored it when it came out.

This deal was reported on CAG awhile ago and it was on the GameStop website.

If you pre-order the PC version, then you get a copy of Battlefield 2 for PC.
If you pre-order the 360 version, then you get 400 Microsoft Points.
If you pre-order the PS3 version, then you get nothing. PS3 gets no love.

Picked mine up today. They had no idea what I was talking about when I asked, but he found one behind the counter -- the only one the store had.
 
Got it today using the $5 preorder. Thanks a lot for the heads-up! I was looking for my own copy instead of swiping my brother's for school. :D
