So you wanna work for a place where the current workers are already so fed up that they're going on strike? Nothing can possibly go wrong with that plan... scab.

I don't cross picket lines.
Hey don't jinx me. Call me a scab after I get the job.
Kinda reminds me of a local place here. Except it was welders instead of grocery stores. This small group of welders were/are making $53 an hour. They went on strike because they had to either take a $2 an hour pay cut, or pay $48 a month for health insurance.

Those fucking pre-madonnas got so stuck in there ways that they forgot they're proly the only people making $53 an hour in a factory in this city. So the company offered them 3 different offers they denied all three. So they were let go. fucking dumbasses Is all I have to say. They were also attacking scabs when the scabs was going to work to do there job. People in this city went insane when the scab jobs open in their place. It was paying $30 an hour. Lines out the door for people applying. The saddest thing IMO is that we live in a country where companies have no problems going overseas. Dude your making $53 an hour. Your high on the food chain in this city. Take the pay cut, or pay for the insurance.

A bunch of bitches. $53 an hour in my city means your a millionaire. 35% of my city annual income is below $25k...
That doesn't count the other 23% thats under the poverty line.

They were bitching about $2... How stupid.

If I get attacked it's whatevers. They can have the police record and I can have their money when I take them to court.

Perfect example of the collapsing middle class, shit, those classes, I want to forget them.....

That $53 an hour is my point about not needing college for money. You don't need to go to college to do that, there are a ton of jobs out there that pay good if you're willing to do the work. fuck college.

My ex (the WoW one) lives in a close suburb of Dayton. I never went into Dayton proper but it seems like night and fucking day from what you describe.

That was a small group of about 25 most factory workers end up making around $35K a year. Factory work ain't easy it tears your body apart. I live in a factory city. I know many people who aren't even 30 and their knees, and back are shot.

That seems to be the only reasonable reply to most of your posts lately.

There's nice suburbs of Dayton but when you in Dayton it fucking sucks.

Downtown is nice they've spent the last 3 years fixing up downtown. From demoing old buildings, and building a new playhouse to adding art to downtown. But all the stuff they've added downtown segregated the city. Factory workers, and your average joes don't care about a playhouse. We want booze, and a good movie. The single A minor league ballpark is nice, and cheap but you've almost got to get your tickets before the season starts. It sells out every night. The most expensive tickets are $12. The Dayton Dragons have broken Single A attendance records every year. But the ballpark only holds about 8,000.

hey rocko, do you like gears of war? I've got a pin I was gonna throw away or something and no one I know really likes games.. and I'm sending you a game.. so you want it? :/

I'm rather meh on Gears. I've played it for a few hours on co-op and I can't really say I'd buy it if and when I buy a 360.

But I mean if you're going to throw it out you may as well put it in. I can give it to my friend who actually has a 360 and Gears.

yeah, either way I'd like someone who'll put it on a cap or their jacket or something instead of it just sitting next to my computer screen collecting dust.
It might be possible to know if you'd like something without trying it!
Yea but the type of games he usually likes don't really coincide with liking Gears. I have seen his collection (from pics he posted) and he focuses a lot more of his attention on Nintendo games and stuff like that. Aside from DoD I haven't really seen him ever mention a shooter that he really liked.

And I don't see how you can like something before you try it DMK. You may anticipate it or be hyped up for it, but I don't think you can ever like something until you try it and know for sure.

This is true. I'm not big on shooters, other than DoD, which I'm hopelessly addicted to. The last shooter I played for a console and liked was probably 007 Nightfire.

Oh but I do have a sealed Socom 3 I won in the Superbowl pool I haven't played yet. That may turn out to be decent.
So long, for now OTT, time for Lego Star Wars 2 and Bad Religion, because I'm that hip!
Well, time for bed I think.

Gotta head to the post office tomorrow and mail two games out. I got offered more money for my 64 games so I think I'll sell them here instead of ebay them. If only I could find Mario Kart D=

Night OTT.
Pin? The fuck?
I assume it's the pin that was given out as a promo for GoW a few weeks before the game's release. I can't recall what they called the event, but I did go.

I just watched The Bourne Identity. Damn, that was a great movie. I don't know why I didn't see it sooner.

Bed, wake up early, bike, work.
Pin? The fuck?
gow_after_hours_qjgenth.jpg
just some cog pin they gave away at some gamestop thing.

Okay, it seems that I completely missed my midterm break. That would explain why nobody was at school when I went today. No teachers mentioned it in any of the emails I got this week, there were no articles about it on the school's intranet, and I cannot log on to check any of this or do anything. WTF? The strange thing is that my friend and I both thought it was next week, you know, the weekend before ID, which would make sense give us a long weekend off for midterms and the holiday afterwards.
