Free Redbox or Blockbuster Express rental

Sgt Barone

CAGiversary!
The code DVDONME will get you a free rental at Redbox. This works one time per unique credit card you have.

BREAKROOM is also another code. This is confirmed to work. (Thanks seether254).

Or you can make a free account on http://www.redbox.com or http://www.blockbusterexpress.com and you'll get a code emailed to you for a free rental!

Each service is $1/day movie rental. You return the movie to a kiosk by 9 PM the next day, and can be returned to any kiosk!

Redbox has over 20,000 locations! Blockbuster Express is fairly new and may not be near you, but you can search for a kiosk on their website. Both are exactly the same and are both fantastic services! Enjoy!

most Redboxes near me only have 2-5 blu-rays per machine, I would love for blu-ray to become much more common place inside redboxes.

If you sign up to the redbox text alert promo thing they send you a unique code for a free rental every 1st Monday of the month. I rented Ninja Assassin this week with mine...

Indeed. Free movie Mondays are great! Also, remember that there are a bunch of codes floating around for free rentals.

The codes are one-time use only, but the uses get tied to your credit card. So, if you have more than one card, you can use the codes more than once. I already have Netflix, but there's a Redbox kiosk right down the block, so whenever I get the urge to see a fairly new movie right away, it's certainly a nice alternative to waiting a day or two for it to come in the mail or paying my cable company.

If you buy a promo Slurpee it comes with a code worth 5 points at Slurpee.com You can redeem 5 points for a code for 1 free movie rental from Redbox.

The promo cups are currently for Iron Man 2.

Sweet. How much are those Slurpee cups?

Thanks to everyone here. There have been at least four ways to get free codes.

And yeah, Sgt Barone, RockMySocks10 is right--there are already Blu-rays in Redboxes, but they just aren't commonplace yet.

Those promo Slurpee cups are 2 bucks, and they are a bit smaller than the XL cups that get you 4 points...and more Slurpee goodness, of course! I do have one of the Iron Man cups, though, and they are pretty nice.

And yes, you enter promo codes at the kiosk. When you first walk up, there are two really big, on-screen buttons. Underneath them, you will find the smaller one for renting a movie with a promo code.

If you go to a redbox and type in the promocode dvdonme you can get a free rental for every credit or debit card you have but its only free for the one day so u have to return it the next day but it works on EVERY card so its awesome :D
Do I enter the code when i get the movie at the kiosk?

Didn't see online if I could enter it there.
yes, all promo codes you enter when you pick ur movie

That's where they get you when reserving online. You cannot use promo codes online to keep it fair, you can only use them at the kiosks and not many people know about promo codes. I am tempted to put post-it notes on the kiosks with the dvdonme code.

Interesting; I was wondering if Redbox was going to offfers BDs. How much per night are Blu-rays? $1? $2?

dont know if this was posted somewhere else but another code for redbox is: BREAKROOM
same rule applies that you can only use it once per credit card.
