Free Southern Chicken Sandwich or Biscuit at McDonalds Thursday 5/15

wtf? Why didnt I see this thread before? I bought a biscuit one this morning for 2 friggin bucks. I could've saved some dough if I just bought a drink!? BTW, $2 for the biscuit one isn't worth it. Horrible value. *munches on dollar sausage mcgriddles*

One of the two McDonalds closest to me has the 44oz drink for 99 cents.

I forgot about the free offer today but I did try the Chicken Biscuit on Wednesday. All I can say is that it wasn't greasy. Nothing special. :whistle2:|
 
I went there for the free chicken sandwich deal. I bought two medium sodas just to get two free sandwiches. my brother was disappointed when i paid for lunch on this day.... I didn't look at the menu to see the actual price of it, but I hope it can be found on the dollar menu.
 
The southern chicken sandwich at lunch did not taste that great in my opinion, maybe because I drank Powerade.. Hopefully when I try the breakfast one it tastes a lot better.
 
Yeah, there's not a whole lot of taste in these things..but they are pretty thick (thus, filling). I think I like the breakfast one better, but the lunch/dinner one is DEF bigger.

This will never be on the dollar menu :(
 
Ate the Sandwich, and I wasn't too impressed with it. I prefer their other $1 chicken sandwich. Sure the chicken was a bit bigger, but it wasn't like the ones at Wendy's or BK. It looks like it's pretty much something one can easily make with things from the supermarket.
 
Both are the worst fucking sandwiches i have ever tasted.
The chicken biscuit tasted like flour and the chicken sandwich was disgusting.
 
Anybody remember McDonalds fried chicken? They should stick to cows. But I don't see how they're "ripping off" Chick Fil A. It's just a piece of chicken in between 2 pieces of bread. Not very original. I'm sure Chick Fil A wasn't the inventor of a piece of chicken in between 2 pieces of bread.

:lol: Again, that was the joke. I had like 12 of these coupons. All of us who abused used the Pepsi promo have a bunch of them :)
 
i will never pay 2.79 for these... also my cousins family must of got rotten ones cause they were sick all last night after eating their for lunch. Pooping and throwing up all night.

they wasnt sick until they ate these. they said even their dogs are sick

funny thing at the one were i gotone. the dude in front of me acted like mcdonalds was a 50 buck eating place his order

1 chicken burned on one side lightly toasted on the other
1 chicken lighly toasted on both sides
1 chicken light brown but not burned

1 fry with no salt
2 fries with little salt

1 pop with no ice
1 pop with 2/3 ice
1 pop with half of cup of ice


i bet they just tossed 3 sandwiches in his bag LOL....... dude did pull over and saw him going thew his bag after they handed it to him
 
I thought they where darn nasty. If I payed for it I would have been pissed but since I didnt it was just whatever.

Not to mention when the person who bought it for me said they tryed to rip him off. I want to post the location of this 15000 WHITTIER BLVD. WHITTIER, CA 90603. When he bought the drinks thats all they gave him. He asked why didnt he get a sandwitch. They told him that there was no promotion or something like that and they could give him a sandwitch but it would cost him the normal price of the sandwitch. However they did have a thing on the windows saying that the promotion was today so that one had to have had it. After arguing they did give it to him at no cost.

Ya I am not going to get it again ever. I thought there was plastic on the bodem of it when I first took a bite of it then I just realized that was the texture of the sandwitch.
 
I work for Mickey D's (part time Summer job) and I had to work the promotion. I don't think it is a bad sandwich, not as bad as some of you guys make it out to be.

I wouldn't pay $3 for it but it is not shabby, especially for free.

Fort Wayne indiana. I dont know how far it extends but the got bulitin boards all over around here. all large drink and sweet tea $1
 
There's a gas station near me that charges $1 for a large soda, but most fast food places charge up to three dollars. You're better off looking into independent or non-food places for discounts on sodas (or grocery stores, those are always cheap). Just bring a canteen or something and fill it with your own if you have to.
