I've been seriously bitten by the turn-based starttegy game bug lately: Fire Emblem, Disgaea, Advance Wars, X-Com, etc.
And then I saw a game advertised on Penny Arcade called Pox Nora. It's online multiplayer, plays a lot like X-com and Fire Emblem ... your units level and can be customized, us ability points, etc.
It's free to try with pre-built "decks" and there's quite a lot one can play on just the free side.
I hope this doesn't come accross as too much of an ad - I'm rather active in the hot deals forum if you doubt my credibility (and I get no benefit by mentioning poxnora). But it is free to try and other like me that wish that Disgaea had multiplayer or FE had soething better than the link arena, this might be a dream come true.
