Free X-Com Clone Game

Hey All,

I read about this in GFW (which I also got for free). I downloaded and played a bit of it. Its basically a fan created X-Com clone. Older gamers may like it for the nostalgic value alone.

Worth checking out IMO, just remember it didn't cost you anything.

Love the X-Com games, and the new UFO: games are good, so i'm definately giving this one a try.

I am going to have to give that a try! I spent hundreds of hours on X-Com.

Also, Joystiq reported that there is going to be a X-Com type game in the next CivIV expansion.

Man, there's like a million of these X-Com-"inspired" remakes. Not only a few freeware fan projects like this one, but at LEAST two commercial series! There's so many I don't either bother trying them out anymore. I wonder if there's anyone who's actually bothered to play all these and figured out which, if any, are good. The one I tried (can't even remember which) wasn't all that great.
