Free Xbox 360 Games (from Trainn...who is updating slowly)
Most of the offers say in their T&C that they will not accept refused packages back. The best bet would be to swallow the shipping and get DC on the return.
Well I called them yesterday afternoon, and of course I get someone that wants to talk me out of canceling. I was polite and calm the entire time, as difficult as Connie (the rep I spoke to) made it... Get this; she actually only wanted to refund 50% at first! I politely said no, I would like to have the entire charge canceled. She insisted that the Colo Cure piggy back was stated in the terms & conditions, and I responded that no, they were in fact NOT in the terms & conditions. Then she tried what some of you had gotten; the 90% refund, and that I could email their corporate for the rest. She kept saying that their "system" wouldn't let her refund the entire amount. I told her that their "system" charged me this amount, so it doesn't make any sense that their "system" couldn't refund the entire amount. I told her that I would like to speak to a supervisor, and after her reading the script to me for fifteen minutes, she finally put me on hold to speak to someone. However, I still didn't get to speak to a supervisor, she came back and said that she (Connie) would email corporate for me, and get the entire amount refunded to me. How ridiculous is that? I told her I didn't understand why it was so hard for her just to transfer me to someone that had the authority to cancel the entire charge, but accepted her answer and got confirmation numbers on both the cancellation, and refund, and got her name & rep #.

Wow, what a lot of hassle. There will be hell to pay if they don't refund the entire amount! I hate freaking scammers, they are truly the scum of the earth.

Speaking of the Terms & Conditions, does anyone happen to have them copied or linked anywhere?

The charges went through to my bank account this morning. I filed a dispute for both charges through my bank already. When I get home tonight I will file a complaint with the BBB (since all the info is at home.)

Shenanigans!

I shouldn't have even called colo cure now my bank is saying i can't file to get the full amount back.

CS for TriSlim told me the maximum processing time for refunds is seven business days. My bank said I have to at least wait out the time frame the company gives for refunds before I can finish the dispute claim. That may be what you're bank is telling you Mugen.

If the charge was unauthorized your bank should take care of the refund for you.

wow trislim are really assholes and love calling their customers liars. i love how they keep saying colo cure was stated in the terms...heres the email i got from corporate;

It was stated in the in the terms under the box where you enter in your credit card information that you would be signed up for colocure. There is also information which tells you you will be signed up with colocure in the trial package. Since you were unaware of these terms, as soon as you refuse the product, please let me know and I will refund the shipping and restocking fees for you. Thanks

im making sure i send that package back with a delivery confirmation number. i have a feeling if i refused it they would try and fuck me over and say they never got it back...like rig said.

How did you get them to refund you the shipping and restocking fee back?

Here's a link to the Trislim terms & conditions. Nothing is mentioned about Colo Cure. You can send them their own T&C to prove your point. The Fit Factory mention is in there, which is why I'm sure we all new to cancel that one too, but no Colo Cure.

guys let's talk about more important things, like pcbugdoctor:

tried calling a few times today and they claimed the lines were busy and to leave a voicemail. haven't gotten a reply to the email i sent about cancellation (over two days ago)

anyone else in the same boat?

yes because pcbugdoctor is much more important. youre like the only one whos done it...SEVERAL people have done trislim and are getting screwed out of $55.

anyway i just emailed corporate back with a copy of their own terms and conditions demanding a full refund...cant wait to see what this douchebag has to say.

well isn't that your fault to doing an offer that not only costs more money than pcbugdoctor but also requires you to ship an actual physical product and pay shipping and handling?

as far as I am concerned I only paid 39.95, which according to the contract will be refunded--clearly a better deal. ps, the mail guy isn't under the impression that I'm fat or have a colon problems because I picked a better offer

Wow. I wish I could refrain from saying this, but I can't help it... you're sir, are an idiot. We signed up for Trislim only expecting to be charged $4.95. You actually signed up for an offer expecting to be charged $39.95! Why didn't you just go buy a game for the same price? Which brings me back to my first point... you are an idiot.

Wow...that's freaking terrible what you guys are running into with Trislim. I'm just glad I never pulled the trigger on that one. If that Maxx Diet or whatever the other recent offer that was added is still up, I would STRONGLY advise that you avoid that one like the plague, as it looks to be from the same company as Trislim. Cases like this are another reason to use VCC's. Sometimes even when you play by the rules, you get effed. It never hurts to have a contingency plan.

Well, I spoke to a CS rep and really don't have anything new to offer. I was also told to email corporate, which I did, including the TOS from the website.

Yeah, it sucks, and it's a pain, but I suppose it could be a lot worse. The company is VERY clearly in the wrong here, and it's very easy for us who got screwed to support our cases with evidence. I guess we should be grateful that they still have the original terms posted.

But I'm definitely going to start copy/pasting the terms from every offer I do into a Word doc just in case this happens again.

lol, i just got off the phone with those clowns again and started to the rep that in the tos it doesn't include colocure he then just told me that if you look at the top of the website it states you sign up for colocure then i look at the top of the trislim site and it says "bonus 30 day colon clean" so that is suppose to be colocure, man this company is a ripoff i'm going to chalk the shipping and 10 percent restocking fee as a lost and be done with those bastards.

That's a good idea, but I'd also recommend taking a screenshot or something else that's a bit harder for them to claim you've altered. If they go back and change their terms, it will probably be the same terms as you've copy/pasted, but with the "see, we told you we'd screw you" part added in, and you don't want them to be able to say you just deleted that part in the text.
cant get it to work...

I can't get the link to work either.
Hmm. The link is https://secure.trislimfree.com/page/terms, but it doesn't seem to work for me either now. I'll see if I can find it again.

TriSlim cost $4.95 initially and our current dilemma is due to fraudulent activity on TriSlims part.

If no one had answered your initial three or four inquiries about PCBugDoctor it probably meant no one had helpful information for you.

Negative Option Clause: I understand that this consumer transaction involves a negative option, and that I may be liable for payment of future goods and services under the terms of this agreement if I fail to notify the supplier not to supply the goods or services described.

I see the blurb at the top of the screen about the Colon Cleanse "Bonus". Nothing in the T&C though, bitches.

Judging from the attitude of the past few posts addressed to me it is clear that this is not the case.

Hey, Kyle Boller sucks.

Just thought I'd share that with you. :)

That's enough name calling in here.

kyleboller: Nobody has answered your questions, almost certainly because nobody did that offer.

TriSlim trial takers: Definitely file with the BBB in their area. I believe the BBB site branches off to local area sites. You have to track down the right address of the company, and provide them (the local BBB) information. In the two times I have had issues similar to this (fraudulent charges), the BBB seemed to do the trick nicely. In the one other occurrence like this that I had, my credit card company pressured them before the BBB case was filed, so I didn't have to take it to them the third time.

In future calls with the company, also alert them that you have saved screenshots of your transaction (including the T&C pages). If they want to try and tell you any sort of BS, hell, just start reading the T&C to them word for word.

With the sheer number of you experiencing the same issue, it shouldn't be hard for the BBB to see what scammers they are. That's if you all file with the BBB. (Do it, do it, do it!)

lol kyleboller, u r the definition of a tool, get ur noob ass out of here. If you want help, then don't be a dick. But u've been such a douche the last 4 pages i don't see y ANY1 would wanna help u out in the future. As far as reading the T&C, ur NOT going to get ur refund. Congrats on reading the T&C :applause:, but u can ask and plead all u want, but a company isn't going to give you a refund.

As far as the other people on here, completely sux that you guys got screwed over. For those of u who remember a LONG time ago, i got screwed by Colo Pure as well from a stupid piggyback offer. My suggestion is to just give up calling the company and go thru ur bank to get the money back. I got my refund of $40, but then got charged another $40 2 days later. Then i called my bank and they solved the problem. They'll fight for you because they want to keep you with their company and not lose you to a different bank. And for future reference, i'd avoid any pill offers. Good luck with ur situations.

I would advise you guys not to call the company but to just go through your bank to get a full refund.
I would advise you guys not to call the company but to just go through your bank to get a full refund.
I second that 100%

I hope you guys get your Tri-Slim issues worked out. I now find myself in a different situation...

I completed 2 offers and submitted an order for 4000 microsoft points. Apparently yourfree360games now uses Amazon's new game download code service, so I received the 4000 point code via email, directly from Amazon.com

Well, I tried to redeem the code, and received an error message that the code had already been redeemed. I called Amazon and they said that I would need to contact Microsoft since Amazon just sells them for MS. I called Microsoft, got a reference number, but eventually was told that I would need to contact Amazon directly, put me on hold, and gave me a reference number to give to Amazon supposedly. I called Amazon back and this person seemed more helpful, but ultimately could not even disscuss the order number, as it was not my account that purchased the points, but yourfree360games.

So I guess I have to call Microsoft back again and ask to speak to someone higher up to get my points replaced. I hope it doesn't come down to trying to get yourfree360games to contact Amazon for support on their order.

I ordered mine yesterday and to say I was surprised to have the code in my email 3hrs after placing the order would be an understatement...although my code worked, good luck getting that straightened out I've heard that Microsoft isnt very helpful in situations like that.

This will be the last response I post to you.

Your statement above makes it clear that you haven't read the posts on this thread, because if you had, you would have seen that we did, in fact, read the terms and conditions when signing up for Trislim. We are getting charged for something that isn't in the T&C. Let me repeat, since you have a hard time reading posts: WE ARE GETTING CHARGED FOR SOMETHING THAT ISN'T IN THE T&C.

You were the one saying that you aren't able to even get in touch with pcbugdoctor to cancel. You were also rude to everyone else on the forum with your remark to us that we should "talk about more important things, like pcbugdoctor." It's quite comical that you are "judging" everyone's "attitude" considering yours has been less than pleasant in the first place.

Good luck getting any response from anyone on this forum in the future. You certainly won't get anymore from me.

Charges from colo cure disappeared from my account, i have a feeling they will come back though.
