Uh, sorry I didn't say what you wanted me to say?
He asked a question, I said my view on it. I just did the offer a little ways back, and cancelled by phone, and didn't get charged or have to order books.
And actually, if you take the time to go back through the posts of people talking about Zooba, a lot of people agreed with what I posted up there, and at that time even, people were NOT being able to cancel without ordering books via email.
No, I don't have a problem with your "view on it". My point was just that there's no such thing as an "ironproof statement". Like several others, I've been with this thread since Part 1, and a lot of us did some of the offers a long time ago. When we post that "I signed up for ____, and was able to cancel by _____", it's just a reference for others to use.
As time goes by, companies can change their policies, and our methods won't always work. I didn't mean to single you out, but I've seen some people on here saying we "claimed" to be able to cancel without buying anything...as if we made it up. It's just hard to guarantee that the way something worked 5 months ago is the way it works now. Hell, it can even vary depending on who answers your call/email.
Again, sorry to single you out. But some people on here want a step-by-step guide on how this works...and that just doesn't really exist. Plenty of us have been screwed by unauthorized charges, long weekends, spam mail/calls, missing confirmation emails, etc. It's just the process.
