Free Xbox 360 Games (from Trainn...who is updating slowly)

After growing impatient with two MCRs, I went ahead and did Consumer Direct today, which credited instantly, to finally put my order in for GH: Aerosmith. I'm probably too late to hit the 'pre-order' wave, but I hope it gets out soon.

Now to find the cancellation number for Consumer Direct 4 days from now...
 
WOOOT!!!! NG2 just shipped, and I ordered it at like 2am. Now I will be super busy wiht new games, I bought Burnout the other day, Dark Sector is coming from GS.com, and GHA and NG2 are coming from YF360G, I'm going to be busy!!!!!!
 
I feel like everyone is setting themselves up for disappointment talking about getting their GH:As by Monday. I don't mean to be a downer, but everything I've ordered from this site has had shipping dates about 2-4 days later than the date of the shipping email. Just a fair warning.
 
Hey guys I did this site last summer and now that I have a bunch of free time I am starting it back up again. I was able to get credit for credit check total but free credit report still hasn't come through and I did both on Wednesday. Does free credit report take a while to credit and how long does the trial last? I wasn't able to find the duration time in the TOS.

Freecreditreport.com has a 7 day duration wherein it is free. For me, it did take a MCR before it credited.

What the crap?

I returned GTA IV to amazon. Got the email on Monday saying they received my return and were refunding me $0.00

I called customer service and explained the situation....they said they'd turn it over to the billing department and it would be taken care of in 2 days.

5 days have passed and still no refund...

Not me personally, but I know others around here have. Make sure you return that one CD though or it is a hefty bill or like 80 dollars I think.

Also has anyone done the offer First Club Save? It has been 6 days so far so I think I will have to MCR again. My last MCR is on day 12, and that was for The Grant Assistant.
 
I've gotta get back into this in a few days. I haven't done an offer for a whil and I'm outta credits. I'd like to grab a few now to have for the future. Saints Row 2!
 
We won't know until we receive them, but I have my money on Amazon. Odds are they ordered them when all the emails went out and they'll be shipping Tuesday, or whenever the game's release date is, I'm not sure.

I got my shipping notice for GTAIV the day before it arrived. They preordered from Amazon and I received it on release day. Release day for GH:A is Sunday (no mail that day) and I got the shipping notice Thursday evening. I know for a fact the Blockbusters around me had them Friday afternoon (because a few of them mistakenly put them out on the shelves), so it's entirely likely thay we'll receive them Monday or Tuesday IF they were preordered.
 
stamps.com charged me 4 months of service even after I canceled within the trial period. Gave them a call on Friday so I'm getting a refund. On a brighter note, my GH: Aerosmith bundle shipped last week!

Yea, I'm not getting my hopes up of having it Monday, because I remember waiting 7-10 days for GHIII, but TraInn has been shipping alot quicker lately and there is no way there is a huge amount of demand for this game compared to GHIII. I was in the local GS today and the manager mentioned what a bad sales day they had for GH:A. Well below expectations.

Oh well, if it comes tomorrow great, I'll be pretty pleased, but if not I can wait for it. It would be nice to have it for the long 4th of July weekend though! :bouncy:
 
How long on average does it take to process these days? Earlier on in the year it took about a week, but is it faster now? I ordered Bad Company yesterday and I'm pretty anxious to get it :p

Lately mine have all processed in less than 48 hours.
 
Anyone know what happens if an MCR goes past 14 days? My first ever MCR is going on day 14 tomorrow. I was charged, I cancelled the trial, I have never previously been a member, and I gave them the email header.

After 14 days send them a support ticket and ask them whats up. Did you make sure to include the full header and not just the header?
 
I just ordered Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. It sucks I won't be able to play it until August.

Do you guys think if I asked Trainn to add the new edition of Gears of War to the site they will?

Yeah Im wondering if they take request like megafreebie. Because I wanna know if they will offer the Madden 09 Anniversary Edition. That game is gonna be almost $100 after tax.

For Halo 3 they provided the LE version of the game. I'd say that it can't hurt to ask them to add any game or accessory so go for it. The worst thing they can do is say no (or never reply!) ;)

I just got a phone call from USG, and the lady was very nice. I thought of canceling then, but I was int he middle of cooking lunch.
On a side note, has anyone received GHA yet?

GH:A just arrived 2 minutes ago.....with no amazon packing slip. Do you think people may have snooped around and word got out that alot of people are gonna do returns is that way there was no packing slip?

It's not in the box. It's under the label on the outside of the box. ;)

How did it ship? UPS? Is there a tracking number? If you use that you should be able to see all the details, like when it was picked up, etc on ups.com or fedex.com

I'm not sure who it shipped from. They just left it outside the door. (I was still sleeping.)

And, I have already "got rid" of the entire package, so I can't look at it for you guys. Sorry.

Oh, my amazon packages usually have UPS stickers with tracking numbers on them so I usually check that stuff just to see what the turnaround time is like.

Then again, since you already "got rid" of the package my above statement is pretty irrelevant. ;)
 
MY GHA and Battlefield: Bad Company shipped the same day. GHA arrived today from Amazon via Fedex and Bad Company didn't arrive, but I believe it is coming via UPS.
