I just cancelled Autovantage and am going to do an MCR.

I Disney a couple of weeks ago and still haven't received books. How long did it take before you all got them?
 
Well, my Mass Effect did in fact show up today.

But, they apparently gave it to the girl that lives next to my apartment, as she just brought it to me. (I wasn't here when they tried to deliver it.)

I would've been pissed if I never saw it. Guess it's a good thing I have nice neighbors!
 
Can anyone give me a quick overview of the book offers and such? I don't know if I want to do them if I have to return the stuff and then have them hold the stuff so I end up being a "member"

I don't want to order and immediately cancel either... unless that's ok... lol

I'm pissed because I think I messed up on the Autovantage offer. I canceled today, technically the 20th day, but I needed to stay on for 21 days to get credit from trainn. I had to file for a MCR. Hopefully it will go through.
 
I did an MCR on Autovantage on March 7th and I canceled on like the 23rd day, its been 12 days since that MCR, is there anything I should do now or do I just have to keep waiting?

I did it the first or 2nd day it was up there, credited in about 48 hours for me, but I also did it on a Saturday, so that may have been the cause for the delay.
 
i'm pissed cause Rainbow is still Shipping Soon and not Shipped. tomorrow is the ship they they give though so hopefully it ships out tomorrow.

nvm just changed to Shipped.

That's just what they say, but you don't have to stay on that long.

Hell, I cancelled AutoVantage after a week and had to MCR, and got credit just fine.

Did yours ship out yet? I placed my order on I think Saturday and I just got an email saying it shipped. Which is even faster than the one I did back in december.

For Autovantage your MCR should go through as long as you got the email when you joined. I have now done all 3 of the offers from that compay and Autovantage and GreatFun needed MCR and they both went through in 10 business days.
 
I also did FreeCreditReport.com. Did it this past Sunday, and haven't gotten any credit.

I'm disappointed--I really wanted a quick one, and I even cleared cookies and watched the a.websponsrs cookie reappear when I clicked over to FCR.com. Between that, the GH3 bundle that shipped last Monday (3/10) and hasn't arrived, and the Rock Band and other GH3 bundle that shipped this Sunday (3/16) and haven't arrived, and the fact that I'll end up MCRing 7 out my last 9 offers... I'm starting to think I'm either very unlucky or someone at TRAINN hates me.

And by "Shipped," they mean they'll ship it 2-day or overnight a couple weeks from now. Don't be fooled by the e-mail that used to be good news.

That makes me feel a lot better. I made sure to put the headers in this time, too. That kept me from getting MCRs on time before.

No one is going to answer this for you.

Gift cards arent even supposed to be used on the site. People use them anyway, but its techinically against Trainn's TOS. You use them at your own risk. That being said, all you can do is try some offers out and read some of the old threads.
 
i just cancelled autoantvge and complete home, they kept trying to offer me stuff but i just kept saying i didnt want it and they gave me a number.

the completehome lady though seemed to almost get mad and she gave me my cancellation number really fast and i had to ask for her to repeat it.
 
Hey, Great Fun just credited without an MCR! Hooray! And my Rock Band arrived today! Hooray!

Thing is, though, Rock Band supposedly shipped this past Sunday (10/16), along with a GHIII bundle. Yet... I haven't received that bundle, nor the OTHER GHIII bundle, which supposedly shipped LAST Monday (10/10).

Guess they're still just lying about when they actually ship things. How long should I wait before contacting them about the first missing bundle? I'm thinking Monday, so it will have been a full two weeks...
 
TRAINN does seem to be slipping. I received a GH3 bundle Tuesday even though I had cancelled that order in favor of Rock Band. Well, I got Rock Band yesterday.

Do I send GH3 back?

Oh, I also noticed that the Rock Band wireless guitars have changed to an April 8 release on Amazon and Gamestop. Not a huge deal, but I guess my Rock Band will be karaoke-only for a week longer than I thought...

I canceled their main one and the other ones claimed not to have any account for me. I also canceled the VCC after canceling Grant and since no one ever authorized it before, I'm fine right? Oh if you use gift cards I assume since they can have any name registered to them, and assuming you were at another IP, you could do any site that doesn't prevent VCC. I have a friend who wants to do this, but doesn't want his account (bank or paypal) linked to his sign ups.

I was wondering I know that Tranin allows you to resign up for a site if you didn't have a ref done. Does this apply to sites you have refs on, but it just resets them? I'm asking because I actually logged in on one that I've completed in the sign up box and it didn't say this email has an account or such. Can you just overwrite an account?

I would like to know this too. I have 2 referrals and need one more credit. I have 4 MCRs that I'm waiting on, so I'd like another credit fast.

Once someone pops in with info on First Club and FreeCreditReport (I think they're okay, though) I'll do those two and use them on another GHIII if nothing aside from GTAIV (which I already have two credits for) interests me in the next update.

I know they work with RB... that was my original plan, to just get two GHIII bundles and use the guitars on Rock Band. But, as I waited for my MCRs, and then waited for my orders to ship, and now as I wait for them to arrive, I realized:

1. I prefer the RB guitars, both in how they look and how they feel to play.
2. I'm not actually interested in the tracklist or gameplay of GHIII.
3. The standalone RB guitars are wireless, and come out in just a couple of weeks (one week longer now, though). And they've probably worked through the QA problems from the bundles.
4. I can gift-return both GHIII bundles to Amazon for $200 or so.

So now, that's the plan. I'll still end up with two guitars, but they'll be the ones I prefer, and I'll have a bunch of extra Amazon credit besides. I just placed another YF360G order for a Rock Band guitar, and I'll either order another one from them when I eventually earn more credits, or just order one from Amazon with my gift credits.

The only downside is that I have to wait a couple more weeks to REALLY play Rock Band. But, I can deal with that.

I did FreeCreditReport.com and it credited after ~36 hours, and I cancelled no problem. There may have been some extra spam phone calls because of it, so be aware of that. Not sure if it was them, since I no longer answer phone calls from numbers I don't recognize.
 
INFO ON CARE BEARS AND DISNEY

I called before and they claimed that since my product was shipping I could not cancel and I would have to wait until I got the package and then ship parts of it back.

I called today and talked to a very nice person who I told my 5yr old daughter was more interested in playing Gears of War so we were going to cancel. :)

She said I didn't have to ship anything back w~~t!. No balance no nothing :) She could not give a confirmation number, but could send me a letter in the mail stating that they have been canceled.

Man talk about a difference you get with different reps

Just canceled Zooba. The lady asked if I had any books out, which I did not, and canceled it right away. She said I'd be refunded $19.95. I thought they only charged $9.95???

As I said before, and as the person you acknowledged said, you WILL get a HUGE influx of spam phone calls. I suggest using a fake number. This is one lesson I have learned the hard way. I get around 5-10 calls a day now. They're starting to slow up as I yell at them to remove me from the list, but my number is out there now in all the wrong places...
 
welp, got Condemned 2 in but it shipped from amazon w/o an order slip so I can't return it lol. Still waiting on my GHIII from Feb. 28th.

So, I ask you guys what's a game on the PS3 that's actually worth the $59.99 price tag? I enjoy FPS and RPG's and I guess great quality games in general. Thanks.

I don't usually answer the phone if it's a number I don't recognize, but I suppose I could just use a false number.

Grant Consultant gave me a shitload of phone calls. :/
