Free Xbox 360 Games (from Trainn...who is updating slowly)

hmm...received my rock band (game) but not my drums which were ordered a week earlier. plus i have a week on some mcrs already. i want sega superstars tennis already!! :(

Uncharted is probably the best game I have played on the PS3, but its a 3rd person action game and neither FPS nor RPG, but its absolutely great. If you like baseball, The Show 08 is great too. Stick to 360 for crossplatform games and for PS3 go with their exclusives. If online charges are an issue, PSN is free so thats a plus to them if you have a shorter Live subscription.

XBox is king of the shooter right now, but Resistance is a PS3 exclusive and its pretty damn good.
 
I just noticed my rainbow six vegas 2 arrived today. I was busy all day so I didn't notice the package downstairs. :D

I looked at his old posts and he reported it shipped on the 13th. That would prove that Trainn does do preorders still (as they've done for me) as the game was shipped from retailers on the 18th. Via 2 day Prime shipping it'd get there today.

I got a shipped email for it yesterday, so if its not here tomorrow I wont believe it shipped that day.

UNCHARTED - Hands down best game on the ps3
Ratchet and Clank- Pretty close second
Resistance- Third

thanks, but honestly I'm phasing out the 360 to the PS3, I probably will pick up another 360 in the future but right now I just want one next gen system and need to kill a bill (it was on financing) b/c I'm moving for grad school late summer. Thanks again, I'll look into resistance as I have uncharted coming via gamefly.
 
Im leaning towards phasing out the 360 as well. I find myself playing my PS3 a lot more than I thought I would and the flexibility is something I took for granted not having it with the 360.. I'm going to hold on to my 360 until at least Gears 2 is out and then decide at that point what to do. With PS3 getting stronger monthly it seems in terms of development steps and the emergence of Blu-Ray as the HD format winner, I think it's only a matter of time. However, should I RROD Im done with 360 sooner. Ill get a replacement and sell it/trade it if that happens.

I've got GTA IV pre-ordered on 360, so the only games really holding my loyalty to 360 is Ninja Gaiden 2 and Gears 2. When Xmas season hits I'll see what next year has in store and decide then.

that kids game took a week to get to him. why wouldnt you believe that ur shipped just because you dont get it in two days?

and Resistance sucks. dont know what you kids are smoking but thats hands down one of the worst games ive ever played. tiny maps with 40 people per server equals non stop spawn killing. bad game bad game bad game. bought a PS3 for that game, experienced it for a few days, and then returned the PS3 a few days later.

No actually it took 2 days, they sent me a shipped email on 13th but the game wasnt officially shipped out til 18th.

edit: Man i haven't been called a kid in so many years haha :)

Trainn reported it shipped on the 13th, meaning the day he got the shipped email. It actually shipped on the 18th (the retail ship date for that game) and considering most of their games are sent 2 day UPS, it got there today. They ordered the game on the 13th, it did not ship that day.

The games from this site (at least the 10 I've received) have always been shipped 1 or 2 day via UPS. Mostly 2. So, if I received a shipped email yesterday, and its not there by Friday or Monday (if the order was late in the day), I would not believe it actually had been shipped yet going by my history with the site. If you read recent history with people waiting for items to arrive, you'd see that this happens quite regularly (receiving shipped emails when nothing has shipped yet)

For my first orders back in October, I received 2 shipped emails a week apart, a week later I got both games on the same day and they were both actually shipped a day earlier. Both games had been released for months so it wasnt a pre-release.

Oh well, you didn't like Resistance. To each their own.
 
yeh well my point was that him not receiving his game til a week after his ship email likely means theres no way youre getting it friday or saturday, and was wondering why you would expect it so early in the first place.

trainn hasnt changed and like youve mentioned, shipping emails mean you will get the game a week or two later.

but you know what, i hope you and i both get the game either friday or saturday and that trainn goes back to shipping games on time.

The only reason for my thinking like that is because I have gotten the games on time before, just after the ship email. Since then, I have received everything 2 days after my shipped email, except for one time since that first order and not including preorders (Turok and DMC4 only). So, if I havent received by Friday or Monday, obviously they're back to the bullshit practice of sending shipped emails well before things are actually shipped which most people have reported. Like you said, maybe we'll be lucky.
 
I just got an e-mail saying my Scene It? has been shipped. I ordered 2 days ago. It's the fastest order I have placed yet.

Rig - Whats the latest with the next update? Are they going to wait until April for it? Or will they be putting it out this weekend or next weekend?

I just need to complete (1) More offer so i can order GTAIV, I am hoping its the special edition but doubt it will be. I think I will do the Blockbuster offer. I already subscribe to Netflix, but for $10 I guess I cant complain. I wish they would add more $1 7-day trial offers.

Had to file an MCR for First Save Club, too. At least my Rainbow Six Vegas 2 has shipped...

well order # has personal info associated with it. if someone gives you their # wouldnt amazon just send the credit to that person.

or would you try explaining to amazon that your name and address just happen to change all of a sudden.

Plumenoir - as for the bidz.com you can just sign up, and wait to file an mcr, it'll work without you using your CC or bidding on anything. Just have to wait 3 weeks for the credit, which is worth it IMO

I have the same problem with Chuck norris teaches ebay. No matter what card or email I use, it always gets declined.

Overnight Genius did not credit instantly for me. Had to file an MCR yesterday. Annoying, I was hoping for a quick one.
 
Sweet. I ordered Rock Band (game only) on tuesday and I got a shipping email on friday night! That's the fastest I've gotten a shipped email. I just hope they actually ship it out on time.

My spreadsheet I made of all the offers lists it as 4.87 (based on what I have read here), but I just went to the site, and it shows it as 6.87.

Maybe when you do sign up, it is less, but I can't get it to go through, even on cards I have never used. Same with Poster Pass.

You do have to return it with an RMA. For some reason, I didn't notate what I paid when I shipped it back the first time I did it, but it was only a couple bucks, if I remember correctly. I think they raised the price two bucks since then, though.
 
As soon as Stamps and First Save finally credit, I'll have 4 credits to use. Not sure what to get though. Condemned 2 might be too creepy for my wussy ass.

I don't understand why the fuck Stamps is taking so long to credit. I've filed an MRC and 2 support tickets. It's been a month since I signed up for that offer!
