I mentioned this a few days ago.

I checked out Media Mogul about a week back, but didn't sign up (I was waiting to get a new gift card). When I went back, I saw the site was definitely different.

So, add my voice into those that are saying to avoid it for now.

Same thing happened to me, but I did the offer anyways and it credited as Media Mogul, sooo yea. :lol:

My gosh that sucks. How is returning shit abusing the site? Maybe they should open a site similar to the games but instead they give you gift credit so ppl won't have to return items back to Amazon. I know there are some sites like Prize Rebel that gives you Amazon credit but those sites are crap when you can just do 2 offers for a game and get back credit for it.

It doesn't suck returning every single game is ridiculous and just being greedy.

Not really. It's not any greedier than wanting free games. TRAINN ends up paying the same amount, regardless of whether the item is returned or not. Amazon was probably just pissed off that they were getting so many returns of "gifts" from TRAINN and asked them to stop it.
 
So yah the Grant Master offer won't cancel. When I call, it says the subscriber can't be reached. When I contact their Online Chat it's just some automated robot it seems, that says "please wait while I locate your records", I sat and waited for 30 minutes while it did that.
 
So online chat was able to cancel my Grant Master crap finally. And right after that UPS knocked on my door with a 4000 ms point card. Sweet. Waiting on a January update myself.
 
I just cancelled Grant Connect and I was charged a nonrefundable $29.99 by Authority ID, and from what I read in the fine print as well as from other members posts on here, I would be charged only $1.95 by them and have a hold of 20 some dollars from them. The customer service rep told me that there is no trial period, and I would be charged the amount above, but he is putting it through a review to get my money back and I would receive a call from them in 2 days. Id stay away from this offer since they are apparently dicking me over at the moment. If anyone else has had similar issues please let me know.

lol. yeh i looked up the prices before i ordered. i ordered aerosmith instead of WT because it was 100 bucks when i ordered.

well guess what, these bastards didnt order til it dropped in price. it shipped today and the price on amazon is even lower than for WT.

i'm kinda annoyed but am surprised at the same time. i had a long back and forth discussion through support tickets with them regarding my account and whether i can order to an address where another account already exists. they said no yet still sent the game today...

The trial period for me was 7 days, I just canceled today and the 21.90 hold was put back into my account within minutes

Maybe it was just because I had a bad day at work, but for some reason, the fact that the three offers were not mentioned in the T&C really bugged me. I called the 800-479-0979 number and was on hold about 7 minutes or so. When I got the CSR, I was able to cancel all three (after getting the speech about the benefits of all three services) and each one has a separate, but sequential, confirmation number.

amazon might not be happy refunding the shipping and handling charges for people that return the item and use a reason like not received in time or whatever.

to be clear, i returned a total of 6 games to amazon (3 gh bundle, got back $108 amazon gc for each, as well as 3 video games (got back 60ish per each), for all my returns the reason was "incompatible with system"

trainn hasn't responded to any of my emails, but i'll keep trying until i get a response

im debating whether i should queue a DVD because I'll be out of town the next 2 weeks, since the trial is 1 month I have time to watch y return it, but i could save the hassle if it credits for just signing up, anyone?

personally, i've never done it without queuing a movie, so i'd do just so that i could receive credit and not deal with the MCR. If you live with some1, have them grab the DVDs if u r worried about them being stolen. If not, have them sent, but ask you local post office to stop your mail for the 2 weeks ur gone. It'll still be shipped to u, but the post office should hold on to ur mail til u get back...
 
Surprisingly quick turn-around on my GH:WT bundle for the holidays. Ordered 12/29, shipped 1/2, arrived today. Now to decide if I keep the whole bundle or just the guitar.

just did media mogul me and bureau tools rx. hoping some new offers come up soon. i need street fighter iv! i keep trying to sign up for netflix but it must know my IP or something and won't let me make a new account. guess i'll have to have my boyfriend sign up for it so i can get credit.

I just canceled grant connect took less than min got my cancellation email and everything.

I had the same problem with Netflix, but signed up anyway since I wanted to try the live streaming. I still got credit for the offer anyway.

First i wanna say this site is very informative. That being said, I REALLY could use some help. I've just got into these trainn sites, i've signed up for both ps34free and 360elite. The problem i'm having is completing offers. I haven't completed any offers before with and of these websites. When i go to complete offers from esuccess2u, amazing webstores, yahoo success center, and global forex, they all fail to work when i got to put in my cc info. I get the error "payment declined, check your address and security code and try again". I have tried 3 different credit cards (2 real, and one gift card). As far as i know the 2 real cc haven't been charged as i checked online with no charges. I don't understand why i'm being declined, my information is 100% correct, its not a problem with the credit card, and i've never completed an offer before so there shouldn't be a conflict. The only thing i can think of is that i'm from Canada, and there's been a problem completing an international order. I've had this happen before buying other stuff online. If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated.

The same thing is happening to me. I signed up for Amazing Web Stores on Sunday, and when I tried to sign up for eSuccess2u the payment was declined. I tried again today and got the same message, and when I tried global forex today I got the same thing as well. The card still works elsewhere... Not sure what the issue is. For reference, I'm not in Canada.

On a side note, Amazing Web Stores credited instantly, and was simple to cancel (I canceled today).
 
Anyone else dying waiting for the site update? I just want to use my credits on Skate 2 so I can see if I have any left. I haven't used the site since last July so I don't remember how many extra credits I had. Ordered Gears 2 and had credits left that I'm using for Skate 2, just not sure if I have more left after that.

The offers you are attempting to complete are all run by Pacific Webworks (PWW), and you aren't allowed to complete more than 2 from that same company. You used to be able to complete multiple PWW offers if you used a different credit card for each one, but unfortunately that doesn't work for most people anymore.

Do you still have an email from an old trial? If you show the full headers and such on an old email, it will tell you what IP the email was sent from.

From there, it'd be looking at the login names or something to find what account it corresponds to.

I sent an MCR in a couple weeks back, and never heard anything. Sent them a support ticket, which said I didn't use full headers. I've certainly been around the site long enough to know I used full headers. They said I could submit it via the ticket, which I did. But, I have a feeling this isn't going to end favorably.
 
I cancelled Grant connect, but they still charged me $40. The guy told me to call back if I am charged. This may be a problem though because I deleted the Paypal VCC that i used for it. Help?
 
so I signed up for Government Grants...and then the Grant Connect site charged me. Really weird. It never even shows me clicking on Grant Connect...so something's fishy. Now I gotta watch out for those 2 piggy-backs I was trying to avoid...
