This was brought up to me, and I was surprised at how it works. The site is called:
http://freerice.com

The premise is simple, for every word you get right, you generate 10 grains of rice that is donated to the United Nations World Food Program. Its a win-win situation. From the site: "WARNING: This game may make you smarter. It may improve your speaking, writing, thinking, grades, job performance..."

Those who want more details about the site and how it functions:
http://freerice.com/faq.html

And, I questioned how legit this site was... and I found this:

So fellow CAGers, spread the word and support the site.

Tried 20 times, got 15 right. Not bad. Says my level is 37. I'll make sure to do this more often. Bookmarked.

Really? I did it around 40 times and missed about 10. Never got higher than 42ish.

Sigh. Edited. 150 was the amount of grains. My level was 37.

This is something I'll dowhen I'm listening to music, just clicking around hoping to get some right. At least it'll donate something.

Looks to me like gaining levels is hard once you lose 'em.

Yeah. I'm copped out at 31 with around 150 grains. It all went downhill from there.
