So my friend doesn't want his Warcraft 3 and W3 TFT anymore. Being the cheap ass I am, I asked him for it and he said yes, meaning I will get it sometime soon. Problem is you need a CD key. Can I just use the one he had since he won't use it anymore? We've played Starcraft against bots together on battlenet using the same key, but this time, I'm not looking to play with him.
 
Yeah they'll work as long as noone else is using the same cd key at the same time on the same server and/or the cd key has been banned from that server (i.e. USEAST)
 
Protip: Blizzard just added digital distribution of games to their store yesterday, so you can add those keys to your store account and download the games anywhere, ala Steam.
