Frontline: Fuels of War (Xbox 360) for $9.98 (w/Prime) $14.98 (w/o) - Amazon VGDotD
FYI this is one of only 2 XBL games that allow for 32-player multiplayer, the other one being Perfect Dark Zero.
Thing is, are there even 32 people playing at any given time? I had a little fun with this game online back then. SP is forgettable.

you do know you can add $25 worth of stuff to get free shipping you don't need to have a prime membership. Thanks though op might get this.

^ I'm actually enjoying the campaign. The drones are a fun change-up from the usual FPS fare; brought back memories of Everything or Nothing. Weapons have a satisfying feel. Enemies will flank and sometimes seem to spawn from behind you, a refreshing change from most FPS where it seems once you clear an area you only have to worry about what's ahead.

OTOH, the story is heavy-handed, the characters/dialog are cheesy and in the Gears of War linebacker style, and the HUD is a bit much (though you can turn off individual elements). I have to say, I'm not challenged much by normal difficulty.

I don't remember specific details but what I do remember was that SP was really gimmicky (ie drones, etc.). But that's exactly what made MP so fun. using drone to kill people from afar.

i would like to know this, is it worth 10 bucks? are people still playing the online mode?

Guess it depends on what you consider gimmicky. On actual battlefields, drones aren't gimmicks. Maybe not yet at the scale in the game, but I recently saw one with mounted grenade launcher and machine gun that resembled one of the drones in the game. I think soon we won't consider drones gimmicky any more than we do machine guns, sniper rifles and grenade launchers today.

I did think they came close to jumping the shark when a rail gun popped up. But I guess those are real now, too!

I got this game at GS a little while back and really enjoyed it. There were still people playing online when I bought it, but haven't played it in a while now... Definitely worth $10 for the single player alone IMO.

Decent game for the price. I picked it up for $6.99 as part of the BBV B1G1 free deal. I've seen a lot of copies of it around so its an alternative for those who want it for cheap but are on the bubble.

I had fun with this game. The one machine gun has one of the coolest sound effects of a weapon I can think of...

I got it for $7.50 a while back ($14.99 at BBV with B1G1) and really enjoyed it. I didn't get to finish it so I've been waiting to find it for cheap again. This might the time I pick it up to finish the campaign.

I loved this game. It is easily one of the more underrated games around in my opinion. Had some nice equipment and fun missions.

It's an enjoyable SP campaign. As for online, it's hard to find a RANKED match for the MP achievements during non-peak hours, but there are always non-ranked matches going on with minimum 10-16 ppl in it. When you eventually get the 16-on-16 matches it can be pretty cool. There are vehicles in MP like tanks and choppers which was pretty cool a few years ago (b4 the likes of BF Bad Company 2), but for $10 you can't go wrong.

I hated the game when I tried it. I thought the campaign was one of the most boring time-sinks ever.

However, I only played the game for about 10 minutes...Is it really worth my time?
