I swear, Fry's could be running the same ad each week and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Sorry Fido, I don't mean to come into your thread each week and complain, it just leaves me sad ... I still have a glimmer of hope each time I click on the Fry's post for the week.

Actually, there is usually very little overlap from week to week. In fact, most of the time there is none. So maintaining a single thread doesn't really save any time. Plus, having a single thread can get confusing if people discuss deals that are long over and the conversation isn't being "cleared" when the deals are dead.

And since I can't sticky the thread, updating the main post would not bump the thread, so it'd probably end up on page 10 and eventually just disappear.

Fry's has has new deal multiple times a week all of which end Thursday of each week. If Fido were only to update it once a week, then we wouldn't know about the potential deals for the remainding 6 days. Don't mistaken Fry's for major retailers such as Target which put out only one ad a week.

So the question is, why do you click on this thread if you think there aren't going to be any deals to be found? And why question the work of Fido when he seems perfectly content with what he's doing. You may not appreciate it or find deals but others such as myself do.

Thank you Fido as always for opening up this thread each week. I always make it a point to visit it each week in hopes of finding a good deal. I hope you're not discouraged by the 'suggestions' of others or by the lack of great deals, which I agree are getting to be less and less recently. Please continue doing what you're doing, it is greatly appreciated.

That being said, it is nice to see MW3 go down to $39.99 again. Hopefully it'll reach the $29.99 on a one day sale soon.
 
The anniversary sale is always in May I think ( a few weeks before my birthday, yay me). And speaking of ads, a) it's the entire store, not the game/movie stuff that he posts here, and b) couldn't we just eliminate the other threads and post a link to the Best Buy ad when it goes up? I like these posts, they remove the clutter from a Fry's ad image.
 
I like these posts as well Fido. Going through the clutter of Frys adds always gets me a little riled. why do they make it so difficult!
