Here's the entertainment software listings from the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Chicago (IL), Los Angeles/Orange County (LA), Las Vegas (LV) and San Jose/Silicon Valley (SJ) Fry's Ad(s). These prices are valid only for the dates listed in the subject line.

The items listed below are as they appear in the Fry's B&M Ads. If an item is listed as "SJ only", for example, it could still be on sale at other locations (i.e. - Austin, Houston, Sacramento, San Diego, AZ, GA, IN, OR, Seattle), but it only appeared in the SJ ad. However, since these ads are not available online, I cannot confirm them. If anyone knows of a website to view any further ads, please let me know.

Those BluRay prices are outstanding...gotta head over there before work now.

And so much for God of War 3 Ultimate Edition being "rare". About as rare as Halo 3 Legendary...

There's a few good blu-rays in there I gotta pick up like Apollo 13 but my big surprise is the games. $34.99 is a good discount for 3D Dot Game Heroes but the Split/Second one is even better. I was about to hold off on getting that game until sometime later down the road but with a price that good I think I'll have to grab it ASAP.
 
BTW, they have ridiculous prices on other things as well - 55" "MAJOR BRAND NAME" (pic shows it's an LG) 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV for $999

47" LG for $700

55" LED ("MAJOR BRAND NAME" again, guessing it's LG as well) for $1499

40" LED $799

6' HDMI cable $1 (MiR)

I'm sure there will be more in store than advertised, as is usually the case with this sale...

BTW, did you guys see the prizes they're giving away? Ford Mustang, 55" Sammy LED, HP laptop - at least for SoCal and Arizona. Not sure if the other districts have such giveaways.

I also ended up purchasing the Logitech Harmony 700 remote - $59 ($94 - $35 MiR), which I considered to be a killer deal as well.

I just got back from the Arlington store and although I managed to get the :br: that I really wanted, unless the have more :br: in the back, whichever :br: you think would be gone. are.

does best buy have the same tv model from frys. Like the 55 inch, is it exclusive for frys only or any store have it? I would like just to price match it to save me a lot of travel and tax. TIA

Would probably get the 55" for sure, but online it comes up at 2249, not 1499. Want to head up there to see if it's in-store only at that price but it's 40 minutes away. They've got it in stock too for store pick up. Hmmm, it's worth the drive if I can get it, but not worth it if it's not the cheap price, cause I know all the blu's I want will end up being sold out.

The online prices are quite often different from the store prices.

Fido, any laptop HDs on sale in your ads? The Atlanta ad doesn't have any, but the stores often have unadvertised sales prices that are advertised in other other cities' ads. Thanks in advance.
 
I'll just price match most of the stuff at Best Buy, lol. I have Split/Second preordered at Game Stop but I might cancel it to get it at that price.
 
Just came back from the closest fry's near my house, didn't pick up any br, but I did get kaspersky internet security 2010 for 59 with 60 mail in rebate. Pretty good deal. Also bought 3 hot dogs with cokes for .25/apiece.

BFBC2 is the best FPS multiplayer game I have played in years. $50 was a good price, $25 is INSANE.

I bought an extra copy just to give to a willing friend, been playing it on PC since launch. INCREDIBLE game.

Also, PMed all this stuff at Best Buy with no problem whatsoever. The floor manager even marveled at the BFBC2 price, commenting, "Damn, that's a good deal."

My store had B1G1 on Anime for ADV and Bandai. I couldn't find anything though-- I tried to mix and match ADV and Bandai, but the sale apparently requires both titles to be scrictly ADV or Bandai.

Does this exist in ad form? I would of course try to pilfer the shit out of Best Buy.

Get a copy of the ad or even an online printout and go a-pricematchin' at Best Buy or WalMart.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like Amazon is matching these from what I've seen, at least not yet...
 
Walked into the Renton, WA store yesterday expecting to find nothing left. So I was pleasantly surprised by the availability of many of the $7.99 titles on blu as listed by the OP. Picked up Public Enemies, Rudy (my dad LOVED that flick), and Watchmen:DC. Just an FYI, though the shelf had Watchmen still marked $17.99, it ran up as $9.99 up front. I didn't complain at all, as $10 still seemed like a GREAT deal for it!!! :)

FYI: Besides the shelfs, there was a table running down the middle of the BR section, and a seperate endcap for the Blu/DVD sets in the DVD cases. So if you don't see what you want first try, look around or ask. I knew Watchmen SHOULD be on sale, and that's how I found out it was $10. ;)

These seemed to be somewhat of an unadvertised deal...or at least it is here in the D/FW area. More or less, it has been one company per week. The first week it was B1G1 free on Sentai/ADV, then last week it was B1G1 free on Bandai; this week, it's B1G1 50% off on FUNimation titles. Sad, even the list is smaller than the last two weeks. :/
