Just a heads up if you interested in the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Gaming Keyboard for $59.99. The ad shows a picture of the Ultimate version, but the stock number and the "original price" of $79.99 both refer to just the regular edition of the Blackwidow, so the Ultimate probably won't ring up correctly at the register, but you could always argue for it if you actually have the ad because the ultimate is pictured and it does say "ULTIMATE" in the text.

I think it's cleaner this way. He's been doing it for years and does an excellent job.

Many reasons. Some of them stupid. But in the end, I rather like the fact that separate posts allow for separate viewing counts, so people can see how popular a given week's sale may be. That can sometimes be a hint as to whether or not there is a really good price or not. And it also keeps the discussion relevant only to each week's sales. No one wants a long thread with postings about items that aren't even available at that price anymore.

You can just write down the views each week and do simple math =P

I say this because this thread doesn't get as many posts, so if you updated it weekly, it might get more exposure from people subscribing. I usually have to hunt down the thread each week, and I often get too lazy to, and end up not seeing it all week.

That's a fair argument, though if I were to make a constantly updating thread, I think I would prefer if it were stickied, which I would assume requires a Mod to do. And since Fry's really isn't a national retailer...I'm not sure there's a good reason to ask for it to be stickied. These posts just don't have the audience that the Target or Best Buy ads have.

No, man, I like how you do them. The stickied ones get too long and are a hassle to go through. I miss weekly ones.

For the price (MSRP says $120-$130) it seems like I should be buying it.

Did you end up going down there and seeing if it was for the the ultimate edition, and if they would honor the pricing error on their ad?

I tried to score this at a fry's this weekend and it was a no-go...they will go by the product number in the ad (#6373171), which refers to the cheaper version.

When I asked about the word "Ultimate" in the ad, they said that it was AN "ultimate" keyboard not THE "Ultimate" keyboard...laaame. :roll:

I'm gonna try pricematching at bestbuy, will report back on that front. :lol:
 
Wasn't able to get the Ultimate Keyboard. All the Fry's employees will ring up the product code, not the product name.

Haven't price matched it other stores yet.
