I checked Futureshop's website, it says Gears of War comes out Nov 7, but on the FF flyer it says the 9th .

GOW at BB is going to be only $59.99 on Nov 9th. Saves me ten bucks if I wait 2 extra days. Or I can go for the FF deal where it's $69.99, but I get The Outfit for free! How many credits does The Outfit worth at EBGAMES?

I read/heard somewhere that little specialty stores like Ebgames would be getting GOW on the 7th and big box retailers would be getting it on the 9th. Any truth to that statement? Really confused when this game will actually be on store shelves.

Also, anyone know when the wireless steering wheel will be released?

Yes, EBGAMES will have GOW on the 7th, while places like Best Buy and Futureshop will have it on the 9th. EBGAMEs gona have GOW for $69.99 & limited edition for $79.99. Best Buy will have it for only $59.99, and at Futureshop is $69.99+ free The Outfit(worth like over $45).
