Hi everyone,
We’d like to thank you all for your interest in our 3-Days of Web deals promotion that started today. One of our deals, the Modern Warfare 2 game sold out much faster than we anticipated, even though we had a problem with downloading the correct, $49.99 advertised price on the PS3 version (the XBOX360 price downloaded correctly). By 4AM EST, we sold out of all the units we had available for this promotion – that’s all 500 units of the XBOX 360 and 500 units of the PS3 game available for the $49.99 price!
Given the high demand and feedback we received with regards to the price not downloading to the site correctly on the PS3 version of Modern Warfare 2, We have ordered 300 additional units of the PS3 game and 200 units of the XBOX 360 game from our vendor and we will release them for sale at the $49.99 price at 2:45PM ET.
All customers who placed an order for the PS3 version of the game when the price was $69.99 will automatically get charged $49.99, there’s no need to contact us about it. In fact, we’ll send all these customers an email later today confirming that they will be charged $49.99 for the game. We apologize for any confusion this unfortunate situation may have caused you.
